Yeah, I never really liked Satterfield either, for the same reason that what thought went through Donald Little's mind when he hit the winning shot against Marquette was "Satterfield".

Stokes always bothered me too. He'd drive to the basket and would always end up laying on the floor. Always took himself out or rebounding position.

Armein Kirkland. Never seemed to put it together.

Bobbit rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. Came across as extremely arrogant to me...although that was like ten years ago.

Dontonio Wingfield

Roy Bright

BJ Grove

Donald Little

All tremendous talents that could have been great but wasted it away

Michael Horton is a big one. You can't be a PG and shoot under 50% from the line, unless you want to be incredibly lame like Doug Gottlieb.

Gates has to be up there. So much potential, but didn't do nearly enough with it. Had some good games, but could've been a 17 pt/11 rb guy consistently, but pretty much chose not to be.

Robert Whaley really pissed me off as well. Similar to Gates, but didn't last too long.

Donald Little as a player, didn't bother me so much.
He did a lot of harm to the university, which already was suffering a bad reputation.

Kenny Satterfield was anti-clutch.

I can't really bash Gates, his first two years were hard, but after that, he got his stuff together. His numbers suffered this year, because we changed offenses. His role changed. If every time we came down the court, we had continued passing the ball to him on the block to start a posession, he may have scored 15-16 points but we would have kept losing to teams like the Bluehose.
I blame the guards for his lack of production. They didn't like caughing up the pill and couldn't shoot out of rhythm. Their shooting problems at the beginning of the season, particularly against Xavier, were embarrassing.

Donald Little was a terrible basketball player, an asshole and looked like a 7 foot Erkel.

Eugene Land has to be one of the most disappointing too.

I will never forget the shot against marquette. And to whoever said Bobbit that is bull. He was one of my top 5 easy.
But i agree with lenord stokes. never really got him.

Charles Williams. Non shooting PG playing out of position. Got here because of cheating by John Loyer and dribbled the ball off his foot vs. X which caused us to lose the game.

Close 2nd: Elnardo Givens. Great Talent. never went to class. First player Huggins punted from the team.

3rd: Michael Joiner. Arrogant and way too tan.

How is it "bull"? It's an opinion...

Yeah I gotta tell you, you're wrong about Bobbitt. One of the nicest guys around campus back when I was there, and not arrogant at all. He was confident about his jumpshot for sure...but not arrogant as a person. I used to ref intramural games back then and he would literally spend hours watching games and commentating, and would put on crazy shooting displays in between games. He's one of my favorites all time.

Least favorite...not even close....Armein Kirkland...frustrating to watch, asshole personality, and even had that annoying mustache that drove me crazy.

They were both good kids, but as basketball players darnell wilks and steve toyloy, i always got pissed when they were on the floor.
