    hopeless. you don't read.

Wow, Deveroes is about to start up

because you are trying to say that i am arguing something i am not. again, i said ZERO- absolutely nothing- about whether or not he was the heart and soul or important player. all i did was quote cronin. my comments were not directed at his contribution to the team. i said nothing derogatory...

Wow, Deveroes is about to start up

you are hopeless to discuss anything with. i don't know why i tried.

Wow, Deveroes is about to start up

what standard am i holding him to? i am simply quoting cronin. not my words. his. listen to micks postgames. listen to his fs-ohio show. listen to his wow weekly show. listen to his weekly media availabilities. he constantly harped on how with dion it was a great challenge keeping them...

Wow, Deveroes is about to start up

did you read my post? i exclusively spoke about his intensity. i spoke of nothing in which you responded. you said mick loved dion's intensity. i said mick publicly called out dion for his lack of intensity routinely, every week for 3 years. thats it.

Wow, Deveroes is about to start up

this post is ridiculous, simply because for 3 straight years mick constantly called out dixon's lack of day to day intensity in his post game shows, radio shows, tv shows, and press availabilities. the thing that mick liked the least about dixon was his inability to remain focused and bring...

Wow, Deveroes is about to start up

wasn't arguing which i prefer or who would be better. was just saying that i disagreed with him saying davis was an "athletic shooting guard."

Wow, Deveroes is about to start up

davis is nowhere close to the athlete that dixon was. dixon was a plus athlete and davis is a mediocre athlete by college basketball standards. however, i do think that sanders takes the biggest jump of the freshmen this past year. he can really shoot it. hopefully he feels more comfortable...

uc offers a lot of players- doesn't mean they have a chance at them. i hope that you are right that quality of recruits is going up, but, i think you are basing that excitement off the wrong news here. josh hart was offered by uc...that is all that was reported. uc can offer anyone they want...

'13 TX C Dominic Woodson (Offer)

whats funny is that ND fans think that all of their players get downgraded when they commit there. i follow nd football and recruiting very closely. every fan base thinks the same way. regardless of whether this actually happens or not, every fan base thinks their players get slighted for...

'13 TX C Dominic Woodson (Offer)

i have friends in multiple different college fan bases who all think the same thing. everyone thinks the scouting services are biased against guys that commit to their program. what reasonable and legitimate reason does rivals have to penalize a players ranking for committing to uc? rivals...

    Initial thoughts on Caupain/Johnson verbals

no its more that mick is going to try to become an elite team in the big east by doing what pitt did. pitt rose up from mediocrity to a year in and year out big east power. the other elite teams in the big east- cuse, uconn, louisville, etc. are routinely getting mcdonalds all americans and...

    Initial thoughts on Caupain/Johnson verbals

agreed. both programs are player development programs. they are winning primarily because they are getting capable players in and improving them in the aim to have veteran upperclassmen every year. that doesn't mean there aren't outliers or exceptions- i.e. pitt or uc will never get a top...

    Initial thoughts on Caupain/Johnson verbals

he is definitely, and pretty openly, modeling the program like howland and dixon did at pitt. hopefully we have more success in march than pitt has. dixon is not well received anymore by many pitt fans because of this.

'12 NY C Jordan Dickerson (Verbal SMU)

i agree with most of this. why are we even still talking about obekpa? he didn't come to uc for whatever reason regardless of what people think it was. if he was coming here, we would be ecstatic about his skill set. since he isn't we don't need to rip his skills.

    '13 OH PF Devin Williams

i agree. i understand he may not be an ideal fit for the system if we want more athletic bigs, but still- with our lack of interior depth, it is surprising considering he is right in our backyard.

    '12 NY PF Christopher Obekpa

dave telep has reported multiple times that obekpa has not qualified yet and has issues with grades.

agree uc will be good. the gaines consolation is laughable, however.

jeff much has been made this spring/early summer about the different guards UC is looking at and hoping to land this summer. do you have any names, however, of the 2013 bigs that UC is really keying in on/has a good shot at being a finalist for?
