I don't understand why an X fan would care about us right now? They are about to play in a sweet 16. UC should be the last thing on their mind.
 
I will be rooting for Xavier to beat KSU. The only time I want Xavier to lose is when X fans openly root against UC verse all teams. I don't get that.

Majority of my X fans don't care much.

As a huge UC fan. I don't mind seeing X win (as long as X fans don't use it as a tool to bash my team). But X fans love it when UC loses.

For the record I think X wins verse K-State.

I think fans that didn't attend the university can root for both teams, but as an alumnus I can't root for them in any circumstance. I know several X grads that can root for UC, but don't know any UC grads that root for Xavier. I'm sure they're out there, but I haven't found them.
 
As a non-UC grad, I'm sure there might be a difference between myself and graduates. Although my dad went to UC and will occasionally root for X. But when he went, X wasn't all that good.

oh thats right i must have gotten mixed up... it's xavier who is in the toughest conference in the country, who has 2 national titles, a few final four appearance, many #1 rankings, a couple national players of the year and numerous NCAA all-americans... SHOOT your right the thetruth...

Why do UC fans always bring up the past, take a look at the current states of the programs and then tell me UC is even close to X. It's just not true... so get your facts straight.

I don't mind discussion, but if you intend to stay here...I wouldn't bash UC while doing so. A couple of us said some nice things about Xavier (it hurt doing so), so give THIS BOARD the same respect we would give you at a Xavier Board.

Or be gone..this is the nice and only warning I'm providing. This board is generally free of nastiness, and will continue to be so.

Don't understand the point of TheTruth coming over here to try to make UC fans upset. IM sorry but ultimately his favorite college basketball team is doing better than mine this year. If I was a player that might get me going but I have nothing to do with UC being good or not. I just cheer for them.

I think all fanbases have a few clowns like this one. I don't think this is an accurate representation of X fans in general.

Hahaha, someone must have looked around campus and saw all the ugly girls wearing their summer clothes and got just a little upset about it.

But no seriously X is a good program over the last 10 years, but this decade will be in the past and you X fans will all brag about how good you were during this period of time. UC has the better past and always will, its that easy. We will always be THE draw in the City hands down. Now come on over here and let big brother give you a wedgie for being a little baby!
 
Xavier has a small and very loyal fan base. UC has a much bigger fanbase but not nearly as loyal.
 
It's easy to be loyal when times are good. When Xavier hoops didn't matter, how many of them do you think were actually UC fans? I'm guessing more than a handful.
