In case we all have forgotten, there is a game tonite. Let's play like we did most of the game against Marquette, and get a win.

So far, so good for the Cats. It was 8-3 when I posted this. The place looks empty. The student section is a graveyard, and plenty of empty seats along the first five rows on the sidelines.
When the crowd cheers, it's almost like what an opposing team might get. Yikes.

Not gonna put anyone away shooting 9-22 from ft line with 4 minutes left. Lot of points left on the court. Vaughn is invisible again.

10-24 from the line. Had UC shot just 66 percent, this game wouldn't be close at the end. How many years will this continue? UC needs to find a new batting (I mean shooting) coach.

If we make free throws this game isnt even close. But a Win is a Win and i'll take it over the alternative. Hopefully we go into WVU with some confidence and pull one out cuz we need it bad!

I can't take all the goons over on BCN, they are all so negative after a fricking WIN! I know we didnt look great but come on we won thats all that matters at the end of the day. Sadly, no one is on this board to talk postgame.

I know. I agree with both things. Over there is terrible. Over here no one is commenting.

Uh, I was going to, but my wife made me watch Idol afterwards. The perils of marriage. LOL

I thought lance and gates looked strong. Toyloy did his thing. Where was everyone else?

If you watch Lance, Yancy, Dixon, and Davis shoot, they all have nice strokes. It has to be mental with them. Gates needs to take more time before shooting his foul shots. If this team could shoot 65% from the line they'd be 4 games better. They simply cannot shoot.

What the he!! has happened to Deonta Vaughn? Percentage wise he is about where he has been his whole career, except at the ft line. He has taken far fewer shots and his confidence is so low right now. If I'm Mick I seriously consider bringing this guy off the bench so he is more relaxed. Let Davis or Dixon start. I'm surprised, well wait no I'm not, Davis didn't get more time after his shot has been falling. This team sorely needs someone to hit outside shots.

It was a win and on to the next. If it can win 2 of the last 3 who knows?

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate everything Vaughn has done for this program but he has just become too big of a liability on the defensive end. I considered the fact that he may just be too slow to keep up with his man but the more I watch the more I realize that he just seems to be confused on where he's supposed to be.

Should Mick send a message by not only not starting him but also serioulsy cut into his minutes? It worked with Lance and Yancey. He is clearly in a slump. The past two games he has shot 5-14 from the field, 0-5 from behind the arc and 2-7 at the line.

Also, as I mentioned before, he has been giving opponents wide open threes.
