Fairfield football coach Aaron Fitzstephens said this afternoon, Jan. 4, that senior safety Arryn Chenault is 100 percent committed to the University of Cincinnati.

Chenault is still expected to take his official visit to UC this weekend.

“He’s talked to (new UC coach Butch) Jones,” Fitzstephens said, “and he loves it.”

Chenault will play in the annual Ohio North-South Classic, which will be played on April 23 at Ohio Stadium.

“He’s really excited about that,” Fitzstephens said. “It’s well deserved.”
