Cincinnati landed its second commitment of the 2011 class when Sycamore (Cincinnati) OL Justin Murray gave his pledge to the Bearcats, Rivals.com reported. The 6-foot-5, 250-pound tackle also reported scholarship offers from Illinois, Indiana and Minnesota, just to name a few.

"I think I could have gotten more offers, but I still would have chose UC," Murray told Rivals.com. "As the college recruiters came in, I listen to what they have to say, deep down inside I knew I was going to choose UC."

The bolded statement is where this program needs to be with recruits. I think Coach Jones and company can get us there.

Justin has finally been rated by a major service with Scout giving him a 3-star rating and a rank of 74 on their list of top Offensive tackle prospects in the 2011 class...

Not only has he been bumped up to 3 stars but he's also rated as the #64 OT nationally. That's nice to see.

Yup... assuming Parker becomes a 3 star when he is evaluated, UC would have a class entirely made up of 3 star recruits on Rivals...

Offensive tackle Justin Murray is one of three recruits with the same last name. He is a local kid from Sycamore High School who will need to fill out a bit before he gets on the field.

At 6'5" and 250 pounds, Murray is a raw talent and a very athletic tackle who picked the Bearcats over numerous Big Ten schools.

Murray is ranked the No. 65 offensive tackle in the nation and is one of Ohio's top 50 players. With the glaring weakness that is Cincinnati's offensive line, they will need Murray to grow into that big body rather quickly.
