His fascination with OSU is still puzzling and unfortunate... hopefully UC gets some good luck on this one and things roll the 'Cats' way...

From reading the other site, sounds like Hunter Maynard got the best of him at the OSU camp last Saturday. It was also reported that he got Tommy Brown , the big OSU committed OL from Firestone, 2 out of 3 at the camp as well. He and Steve Miller were the the top 2 DL in the premier group at the camp according to several reports.

I know Maynard has hopes of landing a UC offer, and this couldn't hurt.

And this probably didn't help Donavan's cause to pull a OSU scholly.

Interesting. Thanks for the information. I believe Maynard is another of those big, accomplished wrestlers who plays DT similar to Brandon Mitchell who we just picked up. I'm still not entirely clear about whether we're recruiting Clark for the OL or DL, though. Wonder if the staff turns up the heat on Maynard. I'd love to have two quality DTs in this class to go along with our 2 from last year's class.

I would love to get clark for the offensive line. Clark, Kelly, Shaq, Coyne, Chism, Murray and maybe a RB would be a really good offensive recruiting class.

I like our defensive guys so far but I still hoping that Poole, Daniels, and couple others still join the D.

USC is less likely with all the sactions.

I hear Ohio State really likes Finneytown lineman Donavon Clark. Wouldn't be surprised if he is offered soon. Coaches on vacation right now

That's a good thing. It may be a two school race between UC and OSU. Hopefully the coaching staff can close it out. I think Tennessee could be a wild card. I think USC is less likely with all the sanctions but you never know because of Monte Kiffin.

Don't think he proformed well at OSU camp. If he wants to keep his UC offer he better jump soon.

I wonder what his position would be here? Would he be a guard or would we play him at DT? I suppose he could even play tackle but we've already landed two guys who are of the left tackle mold. I've heard he is big and athletic but needs some work.
