St. Xavier LB Sean Duggan is on his way home from his trip to Michigan. His Dad couldn't make the trip, but his Mom and Uncle (who's the equipment manager for the Detroit Lions) came.

Sean first told me he didn't have words to describe the visit. He said everything about it was awesome. They first toured the normal buildings, academic center, and the Big House. Sean and his family said they were in awe. He couldn't believe the size, and how nice it was. He was trying to compare it to his current field in high school, which holds 10,000 people. It seems like everything really blew them away. They got a chance afterwards to eat some local food, and take in campus.

They then met with the coaches. Greg Robinson sat with them, and talked about his experience, and why he liked Michigan. Sean and his family were very impressed that Rich Rodriguez actually sat with them for an hour to talk about everything.

He told me his Mom loved everything she saw, and so did Sean. Before this visit Sean didn't know too much about Michigan, but this visit vaults them into his top three.

In a word: eww. Wise up Sean, UM is not on the up-and-up. UC, on the other hand, is actually winning football games. :)

St. Xavier senior-to-be LB Sean Duggan plans to take upcoming visits to Wisconsin, Michigan State and UCLA

I don't see it happening either. Not that I know Duggan or anything, but having gone to St. X, it feels like there is not a lot of love for UC there, especially with Specht.

Dantonio didn't do UC much favors in recruiting at St. X. BK seemed to focus a lot on the Cincy area and so has BJ. It is going to take some time but I think we've already started to see a little more success at St. X with Danny Milligan.

Looks like UC made the cut on Duggan's trimmed list according to Rivals... with BC, Wisconsin and Michigan being three of the other teams to make the cut as well... still doubt he ends up at UC, but making the cut's never a bad thing...

Virginia is a finalist for Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier linebacker Sean Duggan. Originally a part of the 6-foot-4, 215-pound linebacker's top-six, UVa has made the cut as one of the final five schools on Duggan's list.

Boston College, Duke, Michigan, Virginia, and Wisconsin are the schools that made the cut. The school that didn't make the cut for Duggan is Cincinnati, which was included in his top-six previously.
As a junior, Duggan recorded 47 tackles, three sacks and had two interceptions.
