Jaren Sina, a 2013 PG from Gill St. Bernard's (NJ), spoke with Josh Pastner of Memphis tonight. The Tigers will be in to see him soon.

Sina is a long shot IMO not from any sources but one good thing is we could offer immediate playing time or him. I plan on posting some updates on 2013 recruits soon after work internet comes back up

GTech bound Marcus Hunt had 41 pts, 11 rebs & 10 assts for North Clayton (GA), while 2013 PG Jaren Sina of Gill (NJ) had 17 pts & 13 assts.

Memphis, Alabama, Villanova, Virginia, Miami, Penn State, Stanford, Kansas, St. John's and Northwestern are all mentioned as suitors. Butler is making a play as well. I love Sina but for some reason it seems UC can't or won't get as deeply involved with him as I'd like. Think Bobby Hurley when you think of this kid.

Villanova's Jay Wright & an assistant, as well as Florida State, saw 2013 Gill St. Bernard's (NJ) PG Jaren Sina play today.

Totally new to this site, just stumbled on to it looking for recruiting information. What a great job you guys do here!

Anyway, no inside news to offer on Sina. I too would love for the Cats to land this kid. I've read he has deadly mid-range jumper that keeps defenses honest so they don't always play the pass.

Totally agree with Jeff... I would love to have Sina in a bearcat uniform but don't see it happening. Only way I can see Sina MAYBE becoming more interested in UC is if some of the bigger schools sign better players at his position or dont have enough schollys to sign him.

Jaren Sina lists Rutgers, WVU, St. John's, Miami, Cincinnati, Michigan, Nova, FSU, Butler, UVA, Penn St, Memphis, Bama, Northwestern & more.
