A lot of major interest but not many offers yet.

Cincinnati & Rutgers watched PG Shane Rector '13 today, Fordham came to watch SF Daniel Dingle per their coach.

This was a prior Jon Rothestein tweet:

Absolutely love Oliver Antigua's jr PG to be Shane Rector. Stanford, Kentucky, Pitt, Rutgers, Arizona, + Villanova have all shown interest

He is the number 2 rated prospect in the class of 2013 in NY. His breakout came in the Rumble in the Bronx where he dropped 30 points.

Guess Mick was demoted, when did that happen?

Kid is a solid pg. He needs too much time to get an open look off, but is really good at getting to the rim. Has very good speed and good handles but at the college level he will need to be able to go left much better than he does now. Dishes and leads the break well. Some heavy hitters like him and that speaks to his potential at the next level.

2013 St. Ray's (NY) PG Shane Rector lists UMass, Duquesne, Hofstra, Columbia, Fairfield, Dayton, Stanford, Cincy, Marquette & S-Carolina.

Love this kid as a pg. If he works on using both sides of the court and a quicker release on his shot he is going to be very good.

Pittsburgh saw 2013 St. Raymond (NY) PG Shane Rector today. He has a number of mid-major offers.

The fact Mick has recruited New York really well in the last couple of years could bode well for him here with Rector.

Notre Dame is now showing interest in 2013 NJ Playaz (NJ) PG Shane Rector. Pitt, Cincinnati, Georgetown & Stanford also interested

I love Rector. He is probably the guy I want to see most in a Bearcat uniform from this class. Right there with Roberson and Lawrence.

Roberson, Lawrence, and Rector would be that high profile class we all have been hoping for.... Interested to see how the '13 class will pan out. High major talent all over the board....

That would be nice. Been waiting for that class for sometime now. Although, getting Yancy and Cash in 1 class was pretty damn good. If you it 2 players like that every year, you'd have a very solid program. And I guess looking back the 2009 class was really solid with LS, SK, and Parker.

It's early so the 2011 class may be a good one, but I really think Mick his first opportunity for a killer class that year with so many openings and being in on some good talent he didn't land.

2013 class will certainly be a big one for Mick and program.
