Power forward
Cincinnati, Ohio
Withrow
Ht:6'6"
Wt:205 lbs
Class:2013 (High School)

The 2013 forward prospects seemingly never stop in Ohio. Loving and Hayes run with All-Ohio, while Williams is with the Cincinnati Lakers. Williams has grown since the high school season and is nearly 6-foot-7 now. He has great footwork down low with his back to the basket, and has a frame to be a specimen in time. Williams needs to work on his touch around the rim as he misses too many easy buckets, but his strength and athleticism really make him tough to deal with at his age level.

Gonna be on the Ohio State campus on the 9th. Chris Mack and Bob Huggins have been in to watch him lately per the Enquirer.

Devin is another of those players that has interest in both UC and Xavier so the win over Xavier was big in that regard for UC as well as the atmosphere. He has received interest from schools that include UC, Xavier, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan State, DePaul, Ball State, Indiana, Purdue and others. He played very well at the recent Detroit's Motorcity Roundball Classic. If he gets shots he scores. Needs to improve his defensive footwork.

He's UC's to lose if he's from Withrow.

UC spanked Xavier. Xavier is going to become an afterthought soon.

Cincinnati, Xavier, Illinois, West Virginia, Purdue, Indiana, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin. Illinois has offered a scholarship per Rivals.

Had a huge night at the Adidas May Classic. Impressed everyone with 30 plus points and close to twenty rebounds. Awesome!!

Devin Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio/Withrow)
2013, PF, 6-7, 225 pounds | Team: Ohio Basketball Club
College: Undecided
He is a powerful player in the paint who is a very good rebounder. Williams has really worked to improve offensively and has a developing face-up game. He has solid hands which help him clean the glass in the paint. He is now a decent face-up shooter to 15 feet who can put the ball on the floor some and get to the cup inside 12 feet. He is developing into one of the best power forward prospects in the 2013 class.

Take this for what it's worth because it was coming from a 15/16 year old kid but someone who goes to school with him thinks he has every chance of being better than Yancy.

Mick CANNOT let this kid get out of cincy. And I have faith he won't. Our 2013 class will be HUGE.
