Devin Williams (2013, Ohio Basketball Club 16U)

He is a big body with mobility, and a ton of schools are after him. A battler inside, Williams produces around the basket. He also has the ability to knock down the face up jumper.


Devin Williams has offers from Illinois, Xavier, Cincinnati, Tennessee and Dayton. Indiana is showing strong interest.

We are in good standing but from people in the know he wants to go somewhere outside the state to play ball. Though he wouldnt object to being a bearcat it seems thats not his preference.

One 32 I heard the same things about Williams. Wants to get out of town.

You had previously mentioned that 2013 is shaping up to be a nice class. Any ideas who are top targets are? We will lose Cash, Parker, Cheik at least after next year

We will definatley need to get a point guard and a big in this class.

After 3 seasons of being ripped on by the fans.

It's hard to play for your hometown team. Expectations are higher.

Ryan Fletcher, Keith Gregor, Damon Flint, and others didn't have a problem with it. Yancy getting ripped on had nothing to do with being from Cincinnati. It was from not continually busting his ass and taking so many plays off. It was from being suspended from the team and being benched multiple times for attitude issues. He also was suspended for connecting on a nasty punch and giving UC a black eye (no pun intended)...yet after all that, he still got a standing ovation.
