Best athlete so far today- Dante Buford from Florida Elite and ACD. 3 tip dunks and finished everything above the rim.

Dante Buford continued his dominance on the boards and added to his highlight tape. He also averaged 13 ppg.

The Florida Elite team is synonymous with winning when it comes to Adidas events. When they walked in the gym on Friday to try to defend last year's title in the 17-and-under division of the Chicago Classic, the popular opinion was that it would take a strong performance from one of the circuit's most talented players for Florida Elite to take home another trophy.

That player is three-star forward Dante Buford. The common theme with Buford is consistency. The 6-foot-7 combo forward is a freak of an athlete. He has the ability to put the ball on the floor, and he sometimes plays with a motor that makes him a dominant force. However, Buford has a tendency to disappear on the court.

Friday night, Buford made his presence felt in a big way, throwing down high-flying dunks, grabbing rebound after rebound and scoring with touch around the basket as he helped his team hold off a hungry local underdog team.

Buford's athleticism and size at 6-foot-7 make him a matchup nightmare. He's too quick for power forwards, too big for small forwards and too athletic for everyone. So the answer to unlocking Buford's potential is simply his motor. When he has it running like he did on Friday, he'll put himself in the conversation for inclusion in the next 2014 Rivals150.

Right now, Buford is in the process of scheduling a visit to Cincinnati for early June. In addition to visiting the Bearcats next month, Buford says he has had excellent recruiting conversations with the staffs of Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Indiana.

Jermaine Lawrence could be a huge factor here. It sounds like this kid is a lot like Jermaine in that he creates mismatches. Too big for SFs and too quick for PFs. He could get a first hand look at how he could be utilized at Cincinnati.

Can you imagine him and Goodluck Okonobo both signing and it being a dunk and block party every game combined with the gaurd core we have coming in this year that would be scary and very entertaining!

I think Dante, Shaq, and Jermaine L would put on quite a dunk show. If you added GO that would just be ridiculous. Its fun to dream.

He is supposed to be on campus early this month and it will be the second time he has been on campus. You get two visits from a player you are right there. Maybe even the favorite. He is blowing up though and there is a lot of summer left. Hopefully the staff can get it locked down early....

I think there is a good chance that could happen

Goodluck is a pipe dream at this point. Have to beat out some really big programs for him and we are late to the party. Crazier things have happened I guess. I would focus more on Bentil and Moore at the moment for the center spot targets.

I agree Goodluck is probably a dream but Moore or Onauku is not to bad of options. Moore currently has us 1A with Seton Hall. But I think Buford is ours to lose.

If you had to pick a 4 man class who would u pick?

Mine would be Mitchell, Terrell, Buford, Onauku.

Listed first is the first choice for me:

PG - Mitchell, Newton
SG - Terrell, Carrington
F - Buford, Robinson, Clark, Hymon
C - Moore, Onuaku

Left off some like Wiley, Francis, and Okonoboh. Any would be unreal but will be longshots.

I like Moore over Onuaku simply because of Moore's offensive game. Would be refreshing to get a big with ability to score, but Onuaku would be a great get as well.

I would love to have Moore too I just dont think it will happen and we will have to turn to Onauku but if Terrell doesnt come I think your right on with Carrington we are in his top 4
