Shayok would be a very tough get, he didnt even mention UC when they asked him what schools he liked. Robinson is definitely a possibility, he seems interested in us. This guy Waterman sounds interesting, he could be the under-the-radar guy. Mick is targeting a lot of recruits and once they start whittling their lists down, it will probably be much easier to see how this class will shake out.......

Shayok said a couple days ago we were 1 of 4 teams coming at him the hardest and he has a offer from UC it was on Adam Zagoria twitter

Interesting.... Guess it is a possibility then, but it will be hard to fight off the top schools who have been recruiting him just as hard and for even longer than us....

Ja’Quan Newton has cut his list to six.

The 2014 Neumann-Goretti point guard is down to UCLA, Oregon, Minnesota, Syracuse, Miami and Texas A&M.

Newton will hold in-home visits with the schools before scheduling official visits, Neumann-Goretti assistant John Mosco told SNY.tv.

Newton and Brooklyn Lincoln guard Isaiah Whitehead have talked about packaging, possibly at UCLA, Syracuse or Minnesota. Whitehead has said he wants to visit UCLA, Arizona and Syracuse.
