Help Support BearcatTalk:

Reading Haywood's tweets, it does not appear he made the trip this weekend.

Yeah, on Friday afternoon he tweeted "Last day in the Ville (Jacksonville). It's been real", then tweeted "So thankful to be home" this morning. He's from Charlotte, so I'm guessing his school year just ended and he moved back in to his parents or something. Hope he's still visiting soon.

that looks like gary clark to me...

It could have been a friend or brother that just made the trip with him for support. Either way happy we got Stewart on campus, it was a beautiful weekend. Hopefully he enjoyed and we get the commit, would be a good fit. I love his shot, we need that

so to me Elijah Stewart should be the #1 guy talked about on the basketball recruiting forums, is there any news on him if he is close on choosing a school, and does anyone know where he is crystal balled too. To me he is clearly the best option for us he seems like he would fit our mold well. I don't want to waste scholarships on players so we can get more recruits for next year.... But this kid to me definitely is worth the scholly, everyone else I could care less if they came here, I really want Elijah stewart to be a bearcat.

He said he was taking more visits. So its hard to say.

Evan Daniels ‏@EvanDaniels: Elijah Stewart, the best available player in the 2014 class, will officially visit Oklahoma State this Saturday, per a source.

It makes me nervous that he visited us first. He will have the other campuses and programs newer in his head when he makes his decision.

Yeah, I was hoping he'd visit us and just commit, but I knew that was unlikely. Guessing after OK State he visits USC, and picks from one of the three.

He had an unofficial to USC a few weeks ago...not sure if that means he'll use an official there or not. Wasn't Gonzaga in there as well?

California boy, played high school basketball in California, already committed to a California team - I don't hold out too much hope, although the fact that he's visiting teams outside if Cal is good. Ending up at USC isn't.

He is actually from Louisiana but your point is still valid. If I had a guess I think he stays out west. Lets just see if he actually takes all 5 visits.

Looks like Oklahoma State has another scolly open.
Maybe for Stewart?

Kamari Murphy has received his release from Oklahoma State.

I keep hearing west coast from people on this forum. Yes he is from the west coast however did we ever stop to think he wants to play elsewhere. Look almost every recruit wants to play in front of family but sometimes they want to see other parts of the country and get away from the pressures of home.

So he is leaning towards staying out west? Are we still in play?

He is actually from Louisiana and went out west to play high school ball. His mom currently lives in Dallas also so not sure how much of his family is out west anyway.
