'15 UNCA Transfer G Andrew Rowsey

It probably means nothing, as recruits can be all over the place on Twitter, but if you look at the tweets Rowsey has favorited lately, practically ALL of them are from UC fans. I don't endorse tweeting at recruits, but it's interesting to see that he basically hasn't favorited any Marquette fans, even though they're tweeting him too.

Another interesting thing is that I was on a MU fan board and they were not hyping Rowsey at all. They were talking like "it might be worth a shot" and "good back up plan". By NO means did I get the impression was anyone thinking it should be a high priority to land him. It was more like "I guess we'll take him if that's all we have at this point".

I think we were reading the same board. I was surprised to see that mentality. But like was mentioned they already have 5 guards for the next couple years and we only have 3 for 2016 season and he is a type of player we have been craving for years where as they get these types of players often.

At worst he will come in and give us what Cobb did this past year which would be good and at best he could average 15 ppg and shoot about 40% from three.

Doesn't really matter what the boards say it's about what the head coach wants. Obviously they're interested or the trip wouldn't have been made. That said I like our chances. I expect to have a couple commits over the next two weeks.

Who said anything about the MU coaching staff not wanting him. I was referring to a post about why he MAY have been liking UC fan tweets.
