If he was a five star one or two and done like Barber then I can see NC State but if he is a four year three or four star and wants to get better, should be UC. maybe he should talk to the twins that is all they wanted was playing time and they still left.

I see Cane Broome and Darius Hicks followed each other on Instagram. Kinda dumb to look too much into, but you never know if they are both talking.

If kids got to play the positions they think they should be playing there would be no one left to play the post.

Ever since Durant burst on the scene every post player to enter college basketball has thought they belong on the wing.

The reality is "combo forward" is a nice way of saying you don't have the skill to be a 3 and don't have the back to the basket moves to be a traditional big.

I know I am late responding to this but, Demarr Johnson was a tall wing well before KD. If Scott can handle the rock and get to the hole, that would give us a NBA sized lineup. Our defense would be crazy.
Troy 6'3"
Cumberland 6'5"/Evans 6'6"
Evans 6'6"/ Scott 6'7"
Clark 6'7"
Washington 6'9"
This lineup is pretty much the same height as Golden state or Cleveland when they go "small ball"

BIG day today. I hope we get him. I have a feeling he's going to NC State, but what do I know? Hopefully I am wrong. It would be nice to see the name Hicks on the back of UC jersey again. Also, we have #21 waiting for him with Cobb graduating.

If he happens to pick NC ST. Just laugh and realize he's not worried about winning and more worried about playing.

Im going to believe there is a reason he chose 5/13 as the day he would commit

just thinking 5/13 and

The railroad depot in Quitman, Mississippi was built as a combination passenger/freight depot by the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad.

Why can't we fill out our roster? Don't we still have two open scholarships? I'm very surprised that we'd go into next season with the current frontcourt and I just don't see it being enough with Brooks being a true freshman and Scott being inexperienced to compete with teams that will be good enough to advance beyond the first round of the tournament.

Schools generally pocket a scholly or two. There aren't going to be a bunch of great players available in May for the upcoming school year. I'd certainly take Hicks, but beyond that, they may as well pocket whatever is left over and save it for next year. You can only play 5 guys at a time. No reason to settle for subpar players when you could use the scholarships next year on better talent.

Said every year and then they don't fill them the next year. Don't you think depth hurt us this year with Shaq and Cobb?
