I read he's averaging around 27ish a game and has had like 15 double doubles. But also heard his best friend(might even be related I heard cousins) kelvin jackson help them form an awsome duo, he averages around 26 and 10. Jackson is going under the radar tho and may possibly go juco before going D1. Not sure how bad mick wants Bowden but offering Jackson would be a game changer in his decision. Not saying he is or have heard anything connecting him to cinci just know they are a great duo and very very close

Love the kids game. Attacks the rim with authority and looks to finish with a dunk on anyone. But also able to have some acrobatic finishes around the rim without the dunk. Good lift on his jumpshot and looks like he has a decent stroke although you'd like to see a little more arch on the ball. Long arms and quick on defense and from the little bit of highlights I saw it at least looks like he takes pride in his defense.

This would be a huge get for Mick to have a guy who could be a combo guard/SF off the bench that can score in bunches. It's going to be hard to lure him away from SEC and ACC schools though. If it takes to offer Kelvin Jackson as well to help build a strong relationship I think you have to do it

With Shaq leaving we need someone else at the 3 to help Evans. Jordan Bowden now has offers from Manhattan, Marquette, Utah, Cincinnati, Providence and Tennessee. Let's go on a run in the tourney and get his attention.

Quotes from Bowden in an article by Scout.com's Brian Snow-

"I like how Coach Cronin focuses on defense. While they focus on defense he also lets his guards play which is good, and they have a really successful program so it was a big offer for me."

"I don't have any dates set for visits. I'd say in the next two or three weeks I will begin setting my visits and seeing the schools recruiting me."

This article was from 3/1, so hopefully he'll schedule a trip to Clifton soon.

Just amazing you want to go to the school that has the least amount of wins in the state of Tennessee in the last so many years. Woof.

He's playing prep school in South Carolina but the kid is from Knoxville. Can't blame him for wanting to play in front of his parents and friends.
