When I have talked to him he has listed UC in a moving list of 5. Qualifying is a major hurdle, and how this recruitment plays out could take a while. At this point I'm taking what he says to anyone with a grain of salt until it becomes more clear on what his academics dictate. I doubt he ends up at UC at this point, but won't rule out things changing down the road...

Just asked #rivals150 wing Deshawn Corprew if he had signed his LOI with Arkansas Little Rock. He answered no & that he decommitted.
 
Of his last reported top 5 Cincinnati and Texas are the two who would have a solid opening for him. Florida State is guard heavy and signed 5 star SF Isaac for 2016. If we get involved after he decommitted we could have a legit shot at him.
 
Few players have boosted their stock as much through the early part of the year as Deshawn Corprew. The 6-foot-5 senior wing at Winston-Salem (N.C.) Quality Education Academy is playing at a level above his already lofty four-status and No. 112 overall ranking. Corprew made one jumper after another Sunday before finishing with 31 points and six rebounds in a 104-68 win over Houston (Texas) Victory Prep. Since de-committing from Arkansas Little-Rock, he says Louisville, Indiana, Kansas State, Florida State and Virginia Tech are among those who have jumped in.

Wonder if we try again. Has to play 2 years of Juco
