I have no inside sources, but it sounds like this kid is a UC-lean. Think a pretty ideal scenario to wrap this recruiting class up would be to get a commitment from this kid. Also, I hate wishing for kids to transfer, but if Quad were to transfer and open up a spot for a frontcourt juco/transfer that will be ready for once Clark and Washington are gone, that'd be fantastic. I worry about our post-game once those two are gone.

I can't imagine Moore would leave now. Sit out 1 to play 1? And likely at a low-level school? I'm not counting on that.

I'm hoping Brooks develops into an enforcer and allows us to go small often with Evans, Williams, and Cumberland at the "2/3/4". We should also have a great chance at a big guy in 2018. Walk in the door as a FR with tons of opportunity for PT on a Top 25 team. Sounds appealing. Not sure what to expect from Scott, but at worst he'll be around as a role player. I'd rather roll the dice on him and a 2018 4* than grab a JUCO PF.

The more I see of Brooks, the more I like him. Like a lot of freshmen, he's too indecisive. However, his size is legit, he moves well, his defense is reasonably solid (particularly if he can learn to guard without fouling a little better) and his limited offensive moves look ok. I think he could be formidable by his junior year when we actually need him.

Newly named head coach Keith Dambrot at Duquesne has offered 2017 First Love guard David Collins, per his coach

with only 1 scholarship left i just cant see us going for anything other than a PF. Diarra maybe, or a transfer

If Conin likes him well enough and Collins wants to come here then Cronin would use the last scholly on him. Cronin has brought up a time when he was an assistant (maybe at uc?) and someone said they had too many pgs and the last pg they got in the class that they really didn't need was the best pg they had. Cronin won't give a scholly to someone just to fill a spot but he won't hold on to one either if he feels it is the right fit.
