2016 Football Recruiting

Somehow or another, I have been getting emails from Scout.com telling me the latest UC recruiting news. The problem is that 99% of it is about what other teams are doing, who other teams are recruiting, about players thoughts on other teams--hardly ever anything about UC football recruiting efforts. Where can I go to pick up on UC football recruiting and/or UC basketball recruiting?

Ok. We got a 2016 page open for this year's football class. Not sure where the best info is though, I don't follow football recruiting nearly as much as basketball.

Can anyone tell me why not? They haven't sold one kid to UC?

I'd guess since they do team stuff in the spring that they'll get out in the summer and start nailing some people down. I think only high level programs are getting kids to commit before now.

Pecking Order

I am coming to the realization that UC has to take a backseat to the "Big Boys" when it comes to recruiting. After the "Bigs" get their choices, UC gets the remaining scraps to fill their roster. If UC is a big time program, they would be out there getting their fair share of recruits---they are not! UC has set it sights high, but the players have set their sights higher. What other choice does UC have?

After OSU, Michigan, ND, Indiana, UK, and Tenn get who they want, UC may get a couple leftovers! We'll see.

Lol. Indiana and UK. I laughed way too hard at this. Kentucky actually has a lot (15) but IU has 0, like us.

OSU has 12, Michigan has 6 and the list could go on. UC will get leftovers.

As long as Tuberville is our coach UC football will continue to be uninspiring. At the kids get a full ride and a chance to get a good education.
