2018 General Recruiting

Solid question. Most frustrating recruiting process I have ever witnessed.

If you Google Tevian Jones, the 2nd recommendation is his name and Cincinnati next to it. It's odd because he seems like he's just waiting for the Bearcats to offer. No matter what they have on the wing next season, Tevian is the type of player you make room for no matter what.

Unless we're worried about not getting Frankie, we need to get that offer out to this guy. Really blowing up and might only take the offer to land him. Good replacement for Evans after his senior year, gives him one year to adjust to college ball. Extremely athletic and long arms. Looks as if he can shoot the ball also. Lock him up.

Yeah I'd be psyched to get him.

I hope we can get a big that can score, we also need a wing in case Jacob decides to go pro. I think he should stay but who knows..

If Evans stays does he really get a higher draft pick if all goes well ?

Evans is young for his grade. He doesn't even turn 21 until the summer. So if he's a young SR who plays at an All-American level next year, it will certainly help him. I actually think he could shoot 44% or better from 3 next year too. He's missed a couple open ones this year that I don't think he'll miss a year from now.

I dunno, If I’m Evans, I’m striking while the iron is hot

He is one injury from never having a chance

It comes down to that age old question:

Does he want to just make a team and be in the NBA? Or does he want a shot at guaranteed money and a career?

Obviously he could still have a legit NBA career as a 2nd round pick, but the chances aren't as good. If he is one of the top players in college next year, he should be a 1st round pick.
