Per Jon Rothstein...Cincinnati will face Iowa and Dayton will face Colorado in a doubleheader at the United Center (Chicago Bulls' Arena) on 12/21/2019.

I know we are full force in the 2018-2019 season but quick break, what's our OOC so far for 2019-2020?

@OSU
Michigan (I don't know who is home or away)
@Xavier
@NKU
Home against UNLV
Neutral vs IOWA
Paradise Jam..3 games I believe since there's 8 teams (Bowling Green, Fordam, Grand Canyon, Illinois State, Nevada, Valpo, and WKU)

Decent so far (I know the Paradise Jam isn't great but its ok). If Paradise Jam is 3 games, that's 9 opponents so far for 2019-2020. I feel like we need one more big home game then 3 cupcakes.

Seems like too many road and neutral games. We usually play either 8 or 9 home games. Seems like the formula of late has been 9 home/2 away/2 neutral. If we already have 3 road games scheduled, I'm going to have to assume one of the Paradise Jam games is a buy game at home. Either that or maybe we will negotiate with NKU to move the road game back a season.

Doubt we would get to change the NKU game but you might be right about the Paradise Jam. It might involve one home game.

We played 4 neutral games and 2 road games last year, so 4 neutral and 3 road doesn't seem too crazy. The Paradise Jam was 3 games in 3 days this year and last, and I can't see them changing the format next year.

So Michigan is away, or are we just stating worse case scenario?

OSU, X, and NKU are away.

So we are home against Michigan lol? Just saying if that is away then yes, that is a decent amount of games away or neutral OOC games.

That would be 8 away/neutral. 5 home.

9 conference home games so that's 14 home games.

This year we have 18 home games.

I don't know where the Michigan game is.

We have 18 home games this year, but only 16 last year. If Michigan is at home next year, that makes 15 home games. It's a decent amount of away/neutral, but it's not "too many". There are other major teams who only play 15 home games (Villanova, Purdue, Wisconsin, Nevada and Florida this year for example).

@NKU is set in stone for next season?

I read somewhere recently that we just had play the return game within the next 5 years.

Chad just reported on Twitter that Tennessee and Cincinnati will start a Home and Home next year. We get the first home game. December 18th.

Side Note: Didn't know that there was no guarantee that we are playing NKU next year giving the above comments by sedziobs

Chad just said it doesn't look like NKU is a go next year so it looks like here is our OOC so far:
@OSU
Michigan (I don't know who is home or away, but I'm thinking Mich will be home first)
@Xavier
UNLV
Tennessee
Neutral vs. IOWA

4 games left, would imagine they will be all cupcakes. Hopefully one or two of those games can be a Miami OH type local team.

They aren’t playing Michigan...

That's one hell of a schedule. Probably the best one we've head since at least 2015. Maybe the best in the Cronin era.

Edit: If we don't play Michigan, it still probably matches 2015, when we played Kenpom #21, 30, 31, 32, and 46 out of conference.

2016 can probably give it a run for the top part of the OOC with 53, 30, 14, 31, and 20. unfortunately that one was filled with 5 300+ teams.

Elite schedule for next year.

Paradise Jam will be all about improving and building team chemistry.

Very likely that Tenn, Xavier, OSU & Iowa are all top 25 teams next season and yet only 1 of them is at home.

Tenn brings in a 5 star
Xavier brings in a top 20 class
OSU brings in a 5 star and a top 10 class
Iowa Loses essentially no one

Starting 5 for next year:
PG: Logan Johnson
SG: Jarron Cumberland
SF: Keith Williams
PF: Tre Scott
C: Nysier Brooks

Bench:
Samari Curtis
Prince Gilliam
LaQuill Hardnett
Trevor Moore
Eliel Nsesome
Mamadou Diarra
RaShawn Fredericks

Really need a backup PG. Would be nice to grab a late spring recruit.. OR if just for one year Mick went the Grad Transfer route.

Yeah, in 2015 we also played five other top 158 teams, compared to just one in 2016. But I agree, the top was just as good.
