Are there any legit four star or five stars coming up in the Colerain pipeline that are freshman or sophomore’s?
Disclaimer - I’m well aware the stars don’t tell us everything.

Junior WR Elijah Ford has been offered by UC and if he's moved to RB next season COULD be a high 3 low 4 star type guy. Tall with really good speed and hands can play WR in college. Been really productive this season in a weird change of offense at times for Colerain.

Sophomore RB/QB Freddie Johnson has the makings to be a 4 star guy. Really fast and quick, has the chance to be the best QB at Colerain since Dominick Goodman once he takes over next season.

DB Deshawn Pace (Ivan Pace Jr. Younger brother) is the guy to really watch though. He is a junior and has been nothing short of shutdown when asked to be a corner and a ball hawk at safety. Tall and built well with great speed.

CB Jakari Patterson is really good in man coverage but takes too many chances sometimes. Obviously very fast with good hips but needs to play the ball better in the air. High 3 star type guy.

There are others but these 4 stand out. Colerain has a bunch of young guys coming through on both sides of the ball who could be high D-1 type guys.

I would be surprised if Colerain doesn't get another state title under their belt in the next few years

If we are being honest, they should have 3 more since I graduated in 2007. The level of competition they've faced in nothing like we did. They should have won it last season, they let 5 turnovers allow an okay at best Pick Central team beat them. They are the runaway favorites to win it this season. The talent coming up is immense and mind you I didn't even point out a couple of other guys who could be high D-1 players.

I left off Dayveon Bates, Syncere Jones, Kyle Koch, Dontay Corleone and Ace Ehrenschwender. All of their classes vary but out of this group Dontay Corleone has a chance to be special. He is a sophomore starting in the linebacking core and could be argued he's been their best player in the front 7 all season.

Also not sure 100% about this but apparently Clemson and other big time programs have shown real interest in Deshawn Pace

Memorial High School All-State quarterback Michael Lindauer has decommitted from Southern Illinois.

The Tigers multi-sport athlete announced on Twitter Monday that he was verbally committing to the University of Cincinnati.

Lindauer and his teammate Branson Combs, who is also his cousin, chose the Salukis earlier this year.

In a previous story, 44Sports talked about Lindauer’s visits with Cincinnati and Indiana football.

Prior to the visits, Lindauer was still set on SIU and the opportunity to play both football and baseball with the Salukis, according to a source close to the situation.

However, after his visit with the Bearcats, Lindauer changed his mind.

The Indiana Mr. Football finalist passed for 3,858 yards and 51 touchdowns in his senior season, while also rushing for 512 yards and 12 touchdowns.

His 10,805 yards and 127 touchdowns rank fourth on the state’s career passing list.

Can he participate in bball too?

Not a good day for UC recruiting. Colerain FB/LB and Ohio defensive player of the year, Ivan Pace Jr., committed to Miami. A couple other good colerain players committed to Miami in the 2019 class. Didnt help UC would only extend a preferred walk on offer and Miami went full football scholarship.

If he's going to Miami he can't be that good. :)

Doesn't bode well for UC when it comes to the pursuit of the younger, more talented brother of Ivan. They already had an uphill battle for DeShawn with the bigger programs coming. But now Miami has the leg up because the brothers would like to play together in college.

I mean if they didn’t offer him full scholarship, I think there is probably a reason for it

Probably. I think playing both ways actually hurt him. He is an OLB at the college level and that was his best position in high school. Also doesnt help he was a little overshadowed by bigger recruits around him.

Jr Dayveon Bates getting looks from Kentucky,Akron,UC and Ohio University 3rd best safety in Ohio Behind Deshawn Pace according to 247 sports Bill Greene both look really good.Dayveon and Deshawn might commit to the same university ??

Wonder if he will sit out a year but great pick up!!

Got a commitment today from Colerain RB JJ Davis. Really good under the radar get. Think he can either be a good scat back or a slot guy in college. Was always the fastest player on the field in high school. Had a great junior season but his senior year dealt with alot of injuries and lack of touches.
