For Curtis, I bet it was 100% conference affiliation. The AAC just doesn't have the same media perception as the BE and these kids know it. It sucks but nothing to get too upset about. We are still involved with a lot of great talent and this staff has proven they can find the guys they need to win.

Could the path to playing time also be a issue?

What info do you have that allows you to put it at 100%?

Curtis was never coming here. I think he was a Xavier fan to begin with. I mean Xenia Xavier sound similar. I know that sounds stupid but sometimes little stuff like that can trigger the fan out of you. He wore blue to his visit when I saw him at the SMU game. Go ahead and have him Xavier. I hope we beat him 4 years while he's at that pathetic little high school

Wow, that's my bad. I read a 247 article posted by Evan Daniels when I woke up this morning and could've sworn he said the play style and conference made it an easy decision. Must've imagined it being half asleep when I read it! Here's the article: https://247sports.com/Article/2019-guard-Samari-Curtis-commits-to-Xavier-114708429

I believe Broering said on twitter he was surprised by him committing so early. Curtis probably had his eyes on X since the beginning and made the decision based on that.

Oh well, on to the next one.

Mack should stay at X. They are one of the best programs in the country right now and have been for years. Much better situation than UL.

That is temporary, all others I mentioned are permanent. And I said his wife, not him

Temporary or not that is still a huge issue. With his success at X I'm sure he could find a better offer if he was looking to leave then a program who could get big sanctions. Also I'm I know you said his wife. I said he is from X.

Mack is not from X, he was born in cleveland, went to Evansville first, then X, his wife went to UD not UL, my fault. It is up in the air how big the issue is, the kid in question already committed to another school and UL fired their coach. Issues at Penn State happened and they recovered quickly and we all know how things went at UNC. After the air is cleared it is better job than X. He was booed off his court multiple times last year, going 9-9 in the conference.
