Looking at this list, how good of a job did the coaching staff do to get us a 6th place finish in the BE?

The sad part is that he is likely to get no votes for that honor. I read some of the other team's forums and columnists, he is never mentioned for coach of the year, just not right.

Exactly. People want Mick to win no matter what, but its tough to win vs. those types of players when you yourself don't have those types of players. Mick got these guys to play as a team and that is the true measure of coaching. Mick has done a good job plain and simple.

The Cats enjoyed success this season because they played as a team and never relied on 1 or 2 players to do everything, unlike the last 4 seasons. I think that is reflected on the absence in honorable mentions. Everyone certainly would take the success over recognition anyway, IMO.
