Was not expecting that at all. Wow!!
I agree WH. He did many key blocks in several games down the stretch. Brimah was hurt. No big intimidator this yr in our conference. I also don't remember a guard creating havoc with steals. Very happy for him. Now go make some FG's lol.

Happy for him. He improved all of his numbers this year with more games still to play. Here's to him winning that 3 seasons in a row

Gary has been so good at contesting shots without fouling. The whole team has been good at this but Gary has been amazing. Happy for the recognition. He has worked hard to get to this point. Can't wait to see what the next two years brings. Conference POY is in play next year.

Any time Clark is lacking in confidence, he needs to remember a simple fact...He blocks their shots, and they rarely ever block his.

Exactly. I was watching some games that I still had recorded from earlier in the year and it is amazing how his post game has improved throughout the year. He has really started adding and using some different moves which has the defenders on their heels. The next step in his evolution is to have that killer instinct on offense. I think he will get there and I think we will see it next year.

Caupain talked about wanting 4 players to get awards next year, instead of 2. First of all, that's good to hear your PG say that after he received the highest honors on the team. Second, that might be realistic. Caupain and Clark should both be in POY running. Evans and Washington should be high impact players with 2nd team/honorable mention aspirations. Cumberland could have a shot to get all rookie team too.

I agree. Caupain and Clark should be first team. Evans second team for sure. Washington has that potential but hard to comment until we see him on the floor. I think he will be good for the record. I think Cumberland will be all rookie without question. He is a gifted scorer.

he has a nice fadeaway now an is working on a reverse spin in the lane. Really going to be the whole package next year.
