Really surprised to see GT at 5 to 1 and Ville at 8 to 1.

Cuse 1.5 to 1
Marq 2.5 to 1
ND 3.85 to 1
GTown 5 to 1
Ville 8 to 1
Cincy 10 to 1
UConn 12 to 1
W Va 12 to 1
S Fla 15 to 1
SHall 20 to 1
ST Johns 25 to 1
Field 12 to 1

Severe Lack of Respect for the Bearcats imo, but those guys sposedly know. Ill be really surprised if it stays as high as 10-1, bc im pretty sure when Kpom releases his Log5 predictions UC will have a much better chance than 10%.

Georgetown's Senior Class has lost 5 of the 6 games they have played against UC, so how in the hell are they 5-1? Also Louisville as 8-1 is a joke, however I was actually hoping UC would get the 6 or 7 because the bottom of the bracket is a cakewalk to the finals.

I doubt it. We will likely be 30% to beat Syracuse at best and probably closer to 20%. That game will really drag down our overall chances.

Georgetown will likely be small favorites against us (say we are 45%) Syracuse will be significant favorites (say we are 30%) and the final we would again likely be small underdogs (say 45%).

Those numbers put us at a little over 6% to win the tournament. Factor in the chances of an upset happening to one of the primary opponents and those odds would have to be somewhat higher. But I doubt much above 10%.

Georgetown shouldn't be 5-1 though. That is way overstated. No way they are 20% to win the tournament having to play 4 games. But these aren't perfect odds. There is juice built in. Our number is closer to truth than Georgetown's.

Looks like I overstated our odds. We are only 5.6% to win according to Ken Pom. We are the fifth favorite.

yea, i just glanced at a few teams that seemed way too low (ville, uconn, Gtown, wva) and thats why i was like huh, how is Gtown 5 to 1 win it all.

Uconn openedat 12 to 1 when log5 has them at <2% is funny as well.

Current updated odds though
(odds lowered in Red=money being bet on them)
(odds increased in Blue= not much money being bet on them)
(black= same)

They're basically in the same position as last year. I guess the oddmakers don't see another run in them without Kemba...

People have continuously said that UConn came out of nowhere last year. That isn't true, they won Maui and had some huge road wins like @Texas in the OOC. They were a damn good team all year.
