2 Big Monday match-ups on Jan 7th at home vs. Notre Dame and the last Big Monday of the year at Louisville on March 4th. Looks like we got the game on MLK day at 3:30 also a game on New Years Eve at Pitt. And as was already mentioned we have the wildcard situation on Feb 9th that will unlikely go in our favor. Another interesting one is a Friday game at 9 here vs Georgetown on NBA all star weekend.
It is obvious are run to the Sweet Sixteen last year got some peoples attention.

I missed a CBS game at Notre Dame on Sunday Feb 24th at 2.
By my count the worst that could happen is 13-5. With losses at Notre Dame, Louisville and Syracuse. Then a couple toss ups with at Rutgers and Seton Hall.
We are for sure a top 4 team in this league.

Actually, only one Big Monday match-up, the last one against Louisville. Big Monday doesn't officially begin until Jan 14.

Big Monday – The BIG EAST schedule on ESPN’s Big Monday includes eight games over seven weeks. The series starts with Louisville at Connecticut, the league’s most recent Final Four teams, on Jan. 14. A week later, there is the usual doubleheader on the Martin Luther King Day holiday. Cincinnati plays at Syracuse at 3:30 p.m. ET with Georgetown visiting Notre Dame at 7:30. Prior to the official Big Monday schedule, Notre Dame will play at Cincinnati on Monday, Jan. 7, on ESPN2. Four other conference games will be shown on Mondays on ESPNU.

Louisville will never get invited to the ACC. Just shut up.

The acc wants to go to 16 and nd/ul are at the top of their wishlist. The only reason ul hasn't gone yet is because they think the big12 will invite them and they'd rather go there. This is precisely what ul coaches are telling recruits. You are wrong here.

Louisville has horrible academics, the ACC would never invite them. Also, it doesn't matter what coaches tell recruits. Toledo coaches were telling recruits they'd be in the Big East at the time of the last realignment. As usual I've proven to be accurate, and you have been proven to be wrong.

I expect an apology from you when ul leaves the be before the 2014 season.

I'm kind of bad in geography, but what part of Kentucky borders the Atlantic Ocean?

No way they will waive that requirement unless the academics are on par with the other institutions in the ACC. You will be wrong. No way they go to the ACC. If the ACC wants 16, UL will not be one of them (neither will ND).

To play devils advocate, what part of Boise or san Diego is in the east? I hate BearcatMick and have no insight into conference realignment (except that it scares the shit out of me), but the conferences kinda threw the geographic aspects out the window. The whole thing annoys me and makes me anxious about where our athletics will be playing in 5 years. Personally, I'd jump at a Big 12 or ACC offer in a heartbeat, though I doubt that will ever happen.

Back on topic, I like our schedule this year in just about every aspect. Cannot wait to see this team play....

Not 100% positive, but I don't think there is anything in the By-Laws of the Big East that say they must be east, and east of what? I'm pretty sure it actually states that in the ACC, the state must border the Atlantic Ocean. Just what I have read. I was just making the point there is no way in hell UL will get an invite to the ACC. UL might go somewhere, I just don't think it will be the ACC. Also, I am extremely tired of this guy throwing shit out there without a link, claiming he knows what the hell he is talking about. He is obviously very clueless.

Is that really a rule? Haha that's hilarious. But agreed, I like anyone that makes fun of BearcatMick. Realignment still scares me...

There is plenty of evidence out there proving I'm right. Just type into google and search Louisville conference realignment and you'll find quotes from coaches and their ad about wanting out.

You need to realize that the big 12 will not stay at 10. Two more teams means a conference championship game which, in turn, means more revenue. The big 12 is actively looking at a variety of teams including Fsu, Clemson, vt and ul. If ul does not get an invite to the big 12, the acc will look to replace whatever teams leave to the big 12. Ul, uconn, rutgers and possibly Cincy will all be considered.

It's common sense.

Oh by the way, the SEC commish has made it clear they want 16 teams as well. The ACC is going to be raided which means the dominoes will fall to the be. Pay Attention!

Pennsylvania doesn't border the Atlantic Ocean, yet Pitt is going to the ACC. I doubt that is a requirement and if it were it obviously isn't after this season.
