Big East Week One

Terrible start for the Big East as a conference. From watching the UCONN/Michigan game I'm not sure if UM is that good or if UCONN maybe was a little overhyped by some (Herbstreit) coming into the season. Both that game and the Pitt/Utah game were tough games on the road but it certainly would have been nice to get one of them, especially considering your top 15 ranked Big East preseason favorite was playing in one of the games. I have yet to be impressed by a Big East team. Hopefully Cincinnati changes that.

I can't say I am upset by UConn or Pitt losses

I want UC to win all of our games, but I am not going to root for the other teams to win just because they are in our conference. I HATE Pitt so their loss was bringing a smile to my face. As for UConn, I really don't care.


I am happy when our conference does well as a whole, but I won't root for them.
