Someone on banter is saying Biggie was given his medical release. Not sure if it is true or not but I think all of us are expecting this news sooner or later.

Hopefully he tries to get on with a smaller D1 school. He can block shots better than anyone on the team.

Again, not sure if it is true but hell isnt that what message boards are for?

Interesting. I haven't heard anything about it, nor have I seen any articles about Biggie's medical release.

Of course, this has been going around the rumor mills for awhile, but I will believe it when an official annoucenment is made.

I always thought Biggie was a good kid. Injuries really hurt him. I wish him nothing but the best with his future.

Many may not realize it, but Biggie did pick UC over many other highly touted programs. He may not have materialized into the "Thabeet" we all imagined, but Biggie did take a gigantic risk when he choose UC. Thanks Biggie.

BA1 this is no surprise to me if it is true. I'm not going to be surprised if Biggie stays and isn't on scholarship either. As I told you before, that option is being bantered around to open a 'ship. The next 2-3 weeks are going to be interesting indeed. I am waiting to see some resolution of the Bishop situation and the fate of another player. I believe they are interwoven. Can't get a definite read from anyone right now.

I saw it on NCAABBS. Maybe someone trying to play a joke on april fool's though. Honestly though, this news will be coming soon if not already.

It may be april fools day but this would be the lamest april fools joke ever. It is going to happen so I have no reason to believe the person is joking.

If I were to do a April Fools joke I would say something like Teague commits!!!

April Fools jokes are for 8 year olds, but I have a feeling thats what this is, at least at this point.

If this is an April fools joke, then thegreatone just got owned big time. That would be pretty classic, and I think it would earn some neg rep points.

I don't know if anyone remembers this but Scotty Hopson committed to UT on Arpil fools day 2 years ago. There was a lot of internet banter if this was actually true or just a April Fool's joke. Who know's if Biggie will be getting a medical redshirt but as has been mentioned, it would not be surprising.

Why? It will be happening.

I believe reading at the beginning of the season, you mentioned Biggie was going to be a major impact on the team. You were correct, they did no have to buy seat warmers, as Mr. McClain took care of that problem for us!

You believe wrong. I did think he could contribute this year. I still think he maybe would have brought more to the table than Yancy did at points.

I like Biggie, but unless something changes quickly, he's going to be a guy who won't get much action beyond garbage time, or maybe 2 minutes a game wrapped around set timeouts.

Do you ever have anything positive to say? Ever?

The first 3 years I left the blinders on. I took them off this year. You too will see the light! :)

For the record I even had complaints about Huggs. To me you can never be too complacent.

Just because we had a disappointing season, doesn't mean there were not bright spots.

Nothing is black and white.

It must be hard being some of you.

And tell me how that attitude has changed anything in that time frame? Negativity is so draining. No offense. I choose to see the good in everything.

Bearcat basketball does not make the world go round. So I think its pretty easy being me.

I simply point out facts and move on. Some of you need to lighten up and take it for what it is worth.

If you say you were satisfied with this past season. You are kidding yourself.:D
