Bishop Suspended

BearcatTalk

Help Support BearcatTalk:

Missed several meetings throughout the year and had a bad attitude during practice.

Is this:
  1. A random guess as to why he was suspended,
  2. An educated guess as to why he was suspended...presumably because you have first-hand knowledge that he missed meetings and had a bad attitude during practice, or
  3. A fact because you have first-hand knowledge as to why he was suspended?

Just trying to keep it straight.

Pure facts, because Im never wrong...

Actually on 700wlw they where discussing that Rashad has a sleeping problem, and he never wakes up... causing him to miss a few meetings.

I have heard, purely rumors, he is not a good practice person and it has become a growing issue.

That sounds like one of things 700wlw would make up. Dan Hoard doesn't know. If that is the case, I doubt anyone at 700wlw would know.

Ya okay, im pretty sure you dont have more information that Dan Hoard...

Im also fairly sure, that Dan Hoard wouldnt make up the fact that they had Rashad go see a sleep specialist to see if he had some sort of sleep apnea, because this was becoming a growing problem.

What are you talking about? Dan Hoard said he doesn't know why Bishop was suspended...

What are you talking about... Read what I freakin wrote, dumbass.

You asked if I know more than Dan Hoard after I cited him as a person who did not know what happened to Bishop. Here is what he wrote:

5. Rashad Bishop
I don't know the details of what he did or didn't do, but I was very surprised by his suspension. Unlike Alvin Mitchell who was an obvious pain-in-the-neck before being booted from the program, I haven't heard many complaints about Bishop over the last three years. The 'Cats haven't needed him so far in the tournament, but Rashad certainly could have been helpful tonight to defend West Virginia's Da'Sean Butler.

I hope he learns from this and is reinstated after the Big East Tournament. Mick made no guarantees when I asked him about Rashad's future.

"I'll meet with him when we get back, but right now I'm worried about the Bearcats and the guys that are here," Cronin said.

I have no idea why you asked if I know more than Dan Hoard when I was citing him as evidence that he didn't know what happened. 700 WLW loves to make up stories locally. Citing them as evidence of something happening that hasn't been confirmed doesn't hold water with me.

If Bishop does not return, you can bet your ass that Mick will be flying around the country to find a shooter.

Give me someone to stand at the three point line and hit 45%. They don't have to run, walk, play defense, talk, etc. Make 45% from three and you can play on this team.

I really hope Bishop returns. I hope he has learned a lesson. He can be a good contributor IMO.

A scholly will open. Someone will probably transfer. Find a shooter. Keep Rashad and hope we wakes up. Sad thing is he was finally "getting it" and starting to score more.

I'm glad you're on board with one of my biggest points in the last two weeks. :D

UC needs Bishop. He just keeps getting better. I want a pure shooter as much as anyone, but not at the expense of the most consistent Bearcat.

Ya Dan Hoard made up the fact that Rashad has been sent to see a sleep doctor, to see if there was something wrong.. Are you drunk? Seriously. It was becoming a growing problem, so they looked for a solution. But ya your right, missing practice and class, perhaps, is not a logical answer.

I don't want to root against a young man trying to better his life by getting a free education but Rashad Bishop is not a good thing for this team. His body language and attitude are not what you need on a team. I hope he finds help with whatever his struggle is but I am not worried about his absence from a basketball standpoint.

Our youth plus Ibra is our bread and butter for next year. Gaines and Jackson will help, been told they are high motor guys. Loved what I saw in our future this week. The game last night still leaves a sour taste in my mouth but in all reality i'm extremely happy with our cats this past week. Feels so good to be that invested in bball in March.
