We can say all we want about this team's effort and what Mick did or did not do.

SWG has hit the nail on the head, NEED A SHOOTER. This team is who it is. They get lots of offensive rebounds for one reason... We have no shooters!. They play good defense, but still saw a lot of open looks from teams that did not hit.

And unless this team does not somehow get a shooter or 3 in for next year, it will be more of the same. Our big guys will be less effective without an outside presence.

Yea while here Huggins offensive sets weren't always great, but he had Nick Van Exel, Steve Logan, Nick Williams, Darnel Burton, Lazell Durden, Field Williams, Dujaun Baker, to extend the O.

No, I am not a Huggins nut hugger either, just pointing out facts. I was crushed when that 3 went in last night.

We all agree there. I do think Larry Davis, Kilpatrick, Jaquon will all be able to hit some threes next year.

I also think Lance will work on it hardcore during the off season. He will get better because he is a hard worker.

I think Parker is capable, but still don't think he will be a guy we can count on game in game out. Consistency will def. be an issue with him.

As for Kilpatrick, I'v heard he is more of a slasher than shooter. Correct me if I am wrong. Thought I heard that during one of the broadcast's.

Davis needs to become a Field Williams type. A consistent, dangerous threat who cans threes at will. If he doesn't, then Davis (sorry to say) will not see much time next year.
Parker, Dixon, and Cash need to work on shooting the three and improve on their ball-handling.
Wilks, Gates, and Thomas need to work on their game 15 feet in. Wilks has to step it up as a senior, and the first two have got to be solid defensive rebounders.

Davis has the ability to knock them down when open.....but he needs to do a better job at getting open. To be a great shooter getting open is just as important as knocking them down.

I think the guy who might get a little more time next year is Wilks. He has a good shooting touch as well as great form. If he can cut down on his TO's he can be a substantial contributor. I love high energy guys, and Wilks certainly brings that every night.
