Seton Hall was not the only Big East school to garner a commitment of late, as Cincinnati also picked up a pledge from 6'9 power forward Cheikh Mbodji of Grayson CC (TX). The JuCo big man's commitment to the Bearcats was first reported by ZagsBlog.
Like SHU, Cincinnati now has a six-man recruiting class, but Mick Cronin's incoming group features a trio players ranked in the NBE Post-Summer Class of 2011 Top 150. The three are #106 ranked 6'2 point guard Jeremiah Davis of Huntington Prep (WV), #124 6'7 small forward Shaq Thomas of NIA Prep (NJ) and #148 6'5 shooting guard Jermaine Sanders of Rice (NY). Mbodji will also be joining 6'3 shooting guard Ge'lawn Guyn of South Kent (CT) and 6'8 power forward Octavious Ellis of Whitehaven (TN) at Cincinnati next year.
