I am not asking if he is gone or not (Personally I think he is-i feel like he had the mind set that he was one and done regardless)

I am asking--is he ready to go? I feel like his game might translate better in the NBA and could def see him being a solid role player IN THE NBA. However, he will have to accept being in the 2nd round and to earn his right to a contract. Im not sure one more year of college ball will improve his draft stock too much...I just dont get the feeling that he is a college player.

I think he's not ready, and I also think he's leaving after one year.

I agree he is gone. With the amount of hype he had coming in, and his records in NY High School bball, I think he would believe he was a "let down" if he didn't leave after one year. Now I don't know if he is ready for the NBA right now or not, but I do think he would get drafted and probably make an NBA team.

Him leaving this year would be the biggest mistake of his career. He simply is not ready nor is Yancy for that matter.

I dont think Yancy is any where near ready--but as I said I think LS game is more of an NBA style game and thats why he could probably go and sign with a team.

As a wise basketball once told me, being ready has nothing to do with going pro.

I hope Lance doesn't feel like if he doesn't go pro he will be a bust or something. He has unreal talent. But he needs some time.

He would benefit a lot from another year in college.

AS for the deleting threads... I really really don't believe in that unless it is waaay out of left field.

(Glad to see both brothers on board reppin Mick in the pic's!)

Biggest mistake of his career? I highly doubt that. He would most certainly sign with an NBA team, and I'm not so sure he would improve his draft stock that much that it would be worth staying another year. NBA draft is all about potential, and a team will see his potential and draft him, I have no doubt about it.

2nd round right now. If he plays well down the stretch who knows. He could be a lottery pick eventually.

No doubt he would get drafted. he would produce nothing and he would end up playing in Hong Kong, or possibly a K-court league (all time low). He does not have a good enough jumper, and it took him like 7 BE games to make a three.

Ill agree potential is everything in the NBA. But potential alone dont make you a stand out pick unless your 8'6.

Wrong. You see foriegn players get drafted all the time in the top 10 and sent back to play foriegn ball until they are ready. Though, the best foriegn player of all time (IMO) Nash played college ball.

As for Lance-I could easily see him being a "steal" in the second round with the potential he has.

He would be a "steal" but I am sure he doesn't want to be a "steal".

Of course he doesn't "want" to be a steal, but just watching him it seems like he doesn't love playing the college game. Lets face it, he's only here because he has to be here for a year, if that rule wasn't in place he would be in the NBA right now.

I just feel like he would be happy to play in the NBA and can do so as a 2nd round pick IMO. If he went as a 2nd round pick i think he would love to be considered a steal, dont you?

OH no doubt slam, he already said so. I just think that someone who has been treated like a basketball God for so many years, just could not wait to get to the NBA. That is why I feel he doesn't really want to go to college. Do you think he would have been playing in college if he didnt have to?

Not that I agree with what SlamJam is saying, but he could have taken the Jennings route. He didnt HAVE to go to college.

Very true. On that topic, do you guys feel that there are going to be more and more people choosing that route now that they have seen what he has done in the NBA?
