Washington and Stanford to UC? Not saying it is going to happen but Washington has UC in his Final 4 and Stanford has UC in his Final 3.

Would love it but it won't happen. Washington is a lock for OSU IMO. I think they are a package deal but if one comes here my money is on Stanford.

Stanford is going to regret following Washington, I think he really wants to consider UC as his leader (has UC in top 3) but because he isn't running his recruitment he'll go wherever Washington goes. I could easily see Stanford transferring out after a year or two.

@MikeDyer: "UC jumped back in the picture," Taft coach Mike Martin said of Adolphus Washington's recruiting situation

@MikeDyer: Taft senior DL Adolphus Washington taking official visit to UC this weekend, says Taft coach Mike Martin

All I know at this point is that Washington enjoyed his visit very much and UC is definitely in the running for both he and Stanford when they make their decision in the next week or two. Having the final visit for Washington sure helps. I think he realizes that he would have the chance to play very early in his career at UC.

From Mike Dyer on twitter:

Taft DL Adolphus Washington and Taft WR Dwayne Stanford to announce college decision at 10 a.m. Nov. 22 at Taft, according to Mike Martin

Would be a tremendous victory for UC to land one of the two players. If they can get both it would be beyond huge.

It would mean just as much as far as a statement to all local kids. If they are the leaders that start the movement it could put UC into a new class of football.

I dont know who is going to be the first major propects to say I want to play for cincy but I hope its them.

Wouldnt Chris Williams have been the first big name local kid? He was in the rivals top 250 nationwide and a four star.

I suppose that would depend on your definition of big time recruit.

To me it would be a big deal because we would have to beat out Ohio State and other elite elite programs.

I think D Wolfe, Pead, Woods might have had offers from OSU but they werent pursuing those guys very hard.

OSU wants these two bad.

Pead did not have an offer from OSU. If he did, he would have gone to OSU.

That is really narrowing it down because only a guy or two are in that catergory. I consider a 4 star top 250 guy to be a big time recruit.

Pead was actually a pretty big recruit. Picked us over ohio state i believe. Only matter time before we get a top notch local prospect exp if we continue have winning years

Pead is very good, but OSU never offered him. They had Saine and Herron
