Are seeming like very real possibilities. What are your guys thoughts. I think this would solidify The Big East as a AQ conference. BYU has a huge national following which is why ESPN did a 10 year contract with them as an independant and Boise has become a major player in college football.

I think the TV networks would be very happy with these teams.

Both would be very good additions. would both be football only? Also, do you know if BYU will make more money by leaving the contract they had with ESPN?

I would have to think so. It depends on the new TV deal for the Big East. With the numbers being suggested I am sure it would exceed their current contract. Assuming they keep AQ status that would be an additional 3 million a year per team in the conference.

With the San Diego State chatter this is getting interesting. UC, BYU, Louisville, and Boise St. that's be a fine football line up.

The San Diego State chatter is one way. Only San Diego State is chatting. The Big East is not. Ideally, AF and BYU would join along with Boise. All three of these schools would be football only.

San Diego St. is only a possibility if Air Force and/or BYU say no as Boise is insisting on a western partner.

Why not San Diego St over Air Force? Seems like they bring a better program and if the Big East is already going to Boise...why not San Diego if it betters your conference?
