I think Cronin is making excuses for him. Perhaps he should be playing Guyn more because Cash isn't really giving this team much right now.
Cash played great tonight. Dont be ridiculous.
I know, I know, you think he plays great if he makes his outside shots. I prefer the PG position to play point. Cash had ZERO assists. Zero.
Not what we need. We NEED points.
Last year we had 5 guys that could score. This year we have 3. Cash needs to score if we want a chance. He has no one to get the ball.
In case I missed something, assists do equal points. Cash has stopped driving to the lane with authority ever since his injury. He isn't creating open shots for his big men by driving to the lane, or able to dish it out to an open Parker or SK. Sadly, with his limitations, he is still the best we have at point. Not what we need. We NEED points.

umm, assists do equal points. And you vastly underrate the job of a point guard to control the team when they are up and settle things when they are down. A true PG does more than just hoist up 3's. I love scoring PG's, but I want them to be PG's first. Cash hasn't really been a PG all season. I said this at the beginning of the season and it still holds true.
If he would drive more he'd have way more assists. But as soon as he starts to get in the lane, the defender gives him a path to the basket because they know he is going to pull the ball back out. He always does.
