Cash

I think Cronin is making excuses for him. Perhaps he should be playing Guyn more because Cash isn't really giving this team much right now.

I know, I know, you think he plays great if he makes his outside shots. I prefer the PG position to play point. Cash had ZERO assists. Zero.

Not what we need. We NEED points.

Last year we had 5 guys that could score. This year we have 3. Cash needs to score if we want a chance. He has no one to get the ball.

We def need him to score but, more assist also means more points. I think I woukd rather him manufactor points for other players than rely on his nba range 3 attempts

In case I missed something, assists do equal points. Cash has stopped driving to the lane with authority ever since his injury. He isn't creating open shots for his big men by driving to the lane, or able to dish it out to an open Parker or SK. Sadly, with his limitations, he is still the best we have at point.

umm, assists do equal points. And you vastly underrate the job of a point guard to control the team when they are up and settle things when they are down. A true PG does more than just hoist up 3's. I love scoring PG's, but I want them to be PG's first. Cash hasn't really been a PG all season. I said this at the beginning of the season and it still holds true.

If he would drive more he'd have way more assists. But as soon as he starts to get in the lane, the defender gives him a path to the basket because they know he is going to pull the ball back out. He always does.

I agree to some degree. Cash does nothing to create for his teammates or to put them in position to score. That said, other players have to move. Nobody trails a drive to the basket or fills a gap left by a double team and you can't get an assist if you hit an open guy with a pass and he can't make a damn shot. However, if all his passes weren't strictly on the perimeter I'm positive that would change some. I will say it over and over and keep pissing a couple of you off but this team has no basketball iq including the point guard and leader of the team on the floor Mr. Cashmere Wright. Not once last night did I see him pull his team together.
