Wyoming has 3 wins better than any single win on our Schedule.

Ranked #73 coming into the game.

37% from 3.

They have a legit chance of beating us and shoot much better than Buffalo. Can't sleep like we did for stretches today.

What is your issue with this team lol. There's optimism, pessimism and then there's almost sounding like you want them to lose. Go look all around the top 25 and tell me teams are perfect right now. It's early in the season. Once again we shot the 3 really well, our TOs were too high, but I still believe That'll work itself out. Still the best team we have had in years.

Living in the wild west of course I will see Buffalo and Wyoming, LOL

We won’t be top 30 in kenpom by the end of this tourney. We are hugely ineffienct.

I think we’re only 6 guys deep in a true road game
Lol we jumped back up to #9.

It's not rocket science to see if we will go up or down. His projections had us winning by 16. We exceeded those expectations (regardless of what it looked like) and won by 27. So our efficiency margin is going to go up (even if our rank doesn't always slide up or down due to the gap between different ranked spots). In this instance we"jump" 5 spots because those teams aren't separated by much.

Obviously other opponents results will affect this somewhat too, but the single biggest factor is how we do compared to the pregame projections.

We are #2 in defense. Good to see with a lot of new guys.

Please just give it up. The first week of the season does not define who they are. No reason to rah rah the performances, but it isn’t the end of the world. Step off the ledge.

What do you mean?

I’m talking about the other team. Any team can lose if you don’t bring it especially to top 100 teams. I mean nothing I said Is pessimist. I mean I never said UC will lose. I Also said I was a little nervous about buffalo and that game was a lot closer than some people expected.

Will UC win? Yes. Can this team beat us ? For sure

Key to beating Wyoming today will be not fouling and keeping them off the charity stripe where they've hit 79% of those shots so far this year.

A good sign for us is that they haven't shot the ball all that well otherwise over their past 2 games.

Hopefully Coach keeps the kids focused and the Cats bring home the trophy.

I really think for most teams this time of year is about adjusting and growing. Right now the key for me is consistency. Finding that PG and getting Washington to pass the ball out of the double teams is big for us. Not worried about effort. Cronin's teams always bring effort.

Look for us to continue to grow and win by 10+ today.

Below quote from ESPN recap sounds like a not-so-subtle dig at Kyle.

"The first half, we played great defensively and on offense, when we did make the right pass, we found open shooters," Cincinnati coach Mick Cronin said. "We try to start the best defensive lineup. We want to focus on things that win games, defense, rebounding, physicality, and guys that play together."

Sorry when I said kenpom, I meant top 30 effiency in offense. We are now 29.

The TO are killing effiency.

TO worry me some...that was my major worry about Cane Broome, given his past. I do think that TO's will be far less when the core group is together...all the subbing in the blowouts puts combos that are more prone to TO's on the floor. Some of Cane's TO's would not happen with a more aware, tuned in lineup...when he anticipates a cut that doesn't happen, it's not always his fault. Kinda like a QB who looks bad when the receiver doesn't run the route exactly right.

Based on Kenpom Wyoming is 73 and he predicts a ten point win. Wyoming is similarly ranked to teams like UConn, UCF and Houston. No reason we shouldn't win by 12-15 points.
