That's what happens when you've been the only guy on your team who can score your whole life. Kid will get it together, he has a great shot, he can get to eh basket even though we haven't seen that much here yet. His game will come to him, I still think he will be a very good player for us, even if it isn't until next year.

We need it to be this year.

First half: shot 50% from the floor, 3-7 from 3, only 6 TO. Held Wyoming to 21% shooting. FT the only thing keeping this game semi-competitive

Key to beating Wyoming today will be not fouling and keeping them off the charity stripe where they've hit 79% of those shots so far this year.

A good sign for us is that they haven't shot the ball all that well otherwise over their past 2 games.

My scouting report looks pretty good through one half lol

They're not looking like they could beat us at all. And I mean you have just had so many gripes with this team. I truly am just trying to understand. Yeah we are making some mistakes, we are turning it over too much. But regardless this is still our best team we have ever had under mick. I understand scrutinizing to an extent, but just seems like you're reaching sometimes

What are you talking about ? I love this team. Been defending it all year.

I knew this post was coming. Literally was just saying that this team can beat us If we don’t bring it. Clearly we brought it. The buffalo game woke us up a bit. Go back and check my post history, I’m am the eternal optimist calling out fans for going not to games and defending Cronin.

I’ve only harped on one thing all year and that was the 300+ teams.

I’m not an arrogant fan that thinks UC can go to sleep and best top 100 teams. They didn’t sleep tonight which is great. I do think this tourney exposed a lot of problems we need to work on and we need to address them before dec 2nd.

Amen! (and I've been a Broome supporter, but Justin is winning me over - the proof is in the pudding (God, that's an old fart kind of cliché - I am what I am)

Hell, last year, he shot almost 38% from three - he can do it.

I am kind of worried that with the lack of a real challenge we are going to be blindsided when we play a Florida or a Xavier caliber team

Broome just has to get his head under him. You can see the talent and quickness. He gets to the lane whenever he wants. Just relax and let it flow naturally.

We need it to be this year.

I agree we really need him to do better at holding onto the ball. More comfortable in a smaller role. Other than those couple things I think he's been pretty good, I've been really surprised by his ability to shoot the 3, wasn't expecting that as much.
