I haven't heard what the deal is with Grutza. He was supposed to join the team, but that was weeks ago.

The word I got when I was talking to a couple of the guys was that Dustin was finishing up some school stuff and would join the team mid-season.

Since we can't get along on the basketball forum. I recommend making it out to one of these games. Lots of former UC stars. Mauk, Bryd, Goodman, Straub and others. It is fairly cheap to attend and is a great time.

Saturday the 24th, 7:30 @ The Cincinnati Gardens!

Reds have an afternoon game, that it matters anyway, but kids get $2 off if wear a sports jersey.

I say we post a picture of the Commando-babes. The marketing guy was supposed to send me a picture....

Not to be a downer because I know they were nice to Bearcattalk, but I have heard some bad things about these games. I've never gone so I can't speak for myself, has anyone been to a game? If so, are they fun to attend?

Ive gone to the games, I think they are pretty fun. The action is right in front of you, you can see some hard hitting goin on out there. And Cincy always puts up about 50 so high scoring is exciting.

What kind of bad things have you heard?

My inside source tells me it is one of the best bang for your buck things around in the area.

- Parking is free
- Happy Hour starts hour before the game ($1 Beers)
- Mauk, Goodman, Byrd and several other UC grads are on the team
- Cinci has serious weapons and is exciting to watch
- Games start at 7:30, perfect place to pregame before the night
- Oh and they are 4-0

I hear things got out of hand last game. Former UC player involved. Anybody have details on what happened?

Chicago was getting dominated and things got chippy. Cheap shot on Ray Jackson turned into a scuffle with punches thrown and couple ejections.

Commandos return home May 15th for military appreciation night
