Sure would help in some games....Over the course of a year, the difference between this year (.742) and last year (.647) amounts to 65 pts....about 2 pts./game, as UC played 34 games last year.Some stats that stand out through two games...
SK at 21.5 pt's per game is clearly the man as expected...next best 13.5 TR.
JJ is clearly a block stud at 3.5/game...with next best TR at 1.
I am also happy about the following stats...
SK at .941 FT% (16 of 17) is outstanding with TC at .875 (7/8) also outstanding. We also have two guys at .800 with 4 of 5 shooting in GG and JS. Team at 74%. If we can keep this up...we will win some games.
Part of what matters is the consistency of that percentage and, of course, if they hit them when the game is tight. Think last year - beat Alabama 58-56 ft=.714, lost to St. Johns 53-52 ft = .545, beat marquette 71-69 ft = .793
