Impressive

I was impressed with the presentation as a whole by Dan Hoard. The interview with Fared Cobb put a smile on my face because if he was 2 inches taller and 20 pounds heavier he could fit into the Ben Gordon physical profile. FC's interview demeanor was so much Like that of Ben Gordon. Well close enough to draw similarities anyway.

This summer posted somewhere I saw a few of Fared Cobb's workouts and was impressed with the work he was putting in. The UConn vs. Cincinnati games this year could be epic. Lets both stay healthy. Good Luck.

Maybe it is still coming. He was in the "Get to Know Your Team" video at least. Seems like he is just a reserved kind of guy.
Difference between city guard and city big man. Guards get their toughness
having lil man complex. Bigs usually it seems be ashamed of their size early on.

Very good interviews....however, do they really generate enough hits to justify the annoying commercials?

Quadri to me looks like he doesn't have confidence, just reading his body language. You can be quiet and confident and you can be loud and be horrible. So being quiet doesn't bother me, but I think his quiet stems from him believing he isn't good enough. That's something he has to overcome or regardless of any skill and potential he might have it will never materialize. We all were wowed early on last year when we first saw him. I thought he had the potential to be a really good player. Somewhere I think being relegated to little more than walk-on duty he hung his head and lost confidence. When he plays he thinks way too much like he's trying to not mess up rather than just play his game. He takes four steps every time he gets the ball down low like he's reading the manual for how to make a low post move while he's down there. Not everybody can accept that they were the man in high school but come freshman year of college they are the 11th or 12th man. I hope he uses this year to compose himself and use any minutes he gets to let his game grow. We will need him next year to be able to produce or will have to use a scholarship on another juco big.
