Thanks for posting this link. This team is much more focused than in previous years, and plays together as a group. The key is to continue to get better and they all seem to realize this. I thought the Dayton game was the key to their season, as a victory would boost confidence and a loss would be start them questioning if this would be a different year. I would never have imagined that they would win as convincingly as they did, and it shows the players how good they can be if they maintain intensity and play as a unit.

Dayton may have looked bad last night, but lets not forget that they beat Ole Miss on the road. We have to give the players and coaches credit for a great game plan that made UD look like DII team. Dayton is not a bad team but will have growing pains due to their young backcourt. As the year progresses, this will look like a solid win. All in all, a great night to be a Bearcat.

I thought it was a big game too, not only for the players but the fan base as well. This win will seem better late in the year.

I love the way the team has bought into defense and still realizes offensively they are a work in progress. Cash is getting a grasp of what it means to lead a team. Wilks played really good defense last night and contributed in a positive way. Dixon is starting to play within himself. Thomas and Jackson played their roles.

Every player doing their part to win. Isn't it great to see a team play with that as their common cause?

It was such a good win for our team last night. I think the biggest thing this win did was let our fanbase know that this team is going to play their a$$es off and make a run at things this year. I was there last night, and It looked like UC could get whatever they wanted on offense the whole game (except for maybe final 8 min or so with the 2nd team), and man did they intimidate UD on defense the entire game! Wilks played his best game, JJ played great, Dixon was unstoppable, and all of this without Yancy for the first half! Can't wait for Wright State on wednesday, I hope everyone can make it out! We need to support this team because they can do some special things!

Cahill was on the wrong side of the goal to see that the ball wasn’t over the rim when Jackson swatted down Juwan Staten’s layup. And the earlier free throw Staten made resulted when Darnell Wilks’ clean block instead was called a foul.

I was sitting in front of a bunch of pretty obnoxious Dayton fans and was yelling (not too loudly) at the refs about these two calls described above. The Flyer fans, of course, didn't see it my way. Interesting to see another perspective from a neutral observer.

I thought the refs were generally bad yesterday both ways. They called the game too tight. Thankfully it didn't matter.
