I like this guy. After reading his stuff about multiple teams, it seems like he really does his homework. I absolutely loved this article. I, like most of you, struggle sometimes watching this offense. It can be stagnant, choppy, and downright painful. But as Brennan says in this article, this team lays it all on the line. Gone are the days when we had to be concerned whether our team would show up. If the shots aren't falling, the effort is there. If our offense isn't running well, the effort is there. And I'll tell you what, I will take a team that works over a fluid offense any day. This team represents the persona of this city and this university. It is not always pretty and we don't always get the respect we deserve, but you better bet we are going to work our asses off to get where we want to be. I love this team and I am going to cherish the next three months because if the chips fall right, this could be a very special year.

Cincinnati beat Pitt for the second straight season at the Pete. That puts the Bearcats in some rare company with two wins at the Petersen Events Center, joining Georgetown, West Virginia and of all teams Rutgers. The one team that has won three games at the Pete is Louisville. Louisville was the last team to win two straight at the Pete prior to UC when the Cardinals did it in 2007 and 2008. The Bearcats resilience should be noted. Cincinnati came back from the New Mexico home loss to win its Big East road opener. UC coach Mick Cronin would gladly take that trade.
