Hopefully a silver lining for us in this game is Clark usually follow a off game with a very solid performance. We'll need it against Houston. He will be matched up against D.Pollard who is a former 5 star playing very well right now.

I liked hearing Cronin continue to emphasize this all being about the players. He wants them to start getting more individual recognition, but he mentioned that you gotta go get it. Like Caupain getting 27 yesterday. We should be seeing guys like him, Evans, and Clark dropping 18+ all the time. But they gotta go get it. No holding anything back. We got 2 pts 1 reb from the non-Ellis seniors yesterday. We should be in great shape next year.

Lol, that's a wordy way of saying CD.

I meant Cobb and Thomas too. Just speaking in terms of getting a glimpse into next year.

O yea I agree with what you're saying. What we lose after this year is substantial, but I think we'll have the pieces to slide in and replace those guys. I was just pointing out that all of our non-Ellis seniors yesterday combined for 9 minutes and one person.

We got a glimpse of kj in extreme extended minutes, was a game where he couldve showed he does have some juice offensively. He played 36 minutes going 1-7 with 2 points, grant it he made some great players defensively and hustle plays but he's not a guy to count on offesively. Six man is his role I hope he embraces it this year when Cobb comes back(very confident we see farad back at Houston full go, and shaq playing too but not many minutes similar to most recent UConn game) and next year because I like him and he can excel there.(cumberland will start next year at 2)

Way to early to determine who will start. We have 3 open scholarships left and I would be stunned if 1 of those wasn't being earmarked for a grad transfer. Plus cumberlands playing time will be determined by how quickly he learns to play defense. If he plays as well as Evans his first year I will be a very happy man.

As for when Cobb comes back I hope he has found his shot. Since the SMU game he has been a train wreck. His defensive work against Tulsa was also a disaster. If he isn't knocking down some 3's he adds very little.

Any ideas on what changed for Cobb?

I get where your coming from, with three open schollys anything can happen, but I think signing a grad transfer will be tougher for us becuase Mick cannot guarentee playing time at any position. At the two guard we have a senior in kJ who mick loves due to his defense and toughness (no doubt he will get solid minutes IMO) and then we have a top 50 recruit in cumberland coming (a guy that heavily recruited isnt coming in to sit on the bench) I just dont think a fifth year wouldn't want to compete with that. Troy has the one locked up and gary has the four kyle is the man at the 5 and evans has the wing. These grad guys want to know they will start so it will be tough to sign some of the bigger names that pop will pop up

Cobb is structurally fine. He has a sprain so it comes down to pain tolerance, now spains heal slowly but with his if he can handle the pain the injury cant really get worse and with it be his final stretch of his senior year i am very confident hes a go thursday
