They just called a foul on Gates?

WHAT?!! Are you kidding me?

Nevermind, it was on Wright - but still.

Turnovers. We don't turn it over we're good. they've stopped passing again. Get Parker back in and let's go!

And charging through brick walls out of control. I wish they would realize you can't dribble that much against a good on ball defender.

Sullinger picks up his 3rd foul with 11 minutes left. Gates doesn't touch the ball again. We just start dribbling and turning the ball over.

WELCOME BACK TO THE FIRST HALF, FANS! JUST THOUGHT WE'D TEASE YOU!

Wright and Kilpatrick should be the only ones to shoot the ball.

Dixon no, Parker yes if you drive in the lane.

Went so well, then so bad again. Shots went cold, haven't gotten the ball to Yancy to go at Sullinger, too much dribbling and far far too many turnovers.

We're also in the bonus yet we don't drive the ball to score.

Opportunities. Missed Opportunities.

Its been a fun ride! Disappointing ending just BC of the careless turnovers but its still a good day to be a bearcat! Hope Syracuse can take care of the suckeyes

Craft is a beast on Defense. Sad to see it end this way. Heck of a season though. I think we would all consider it a success. Even if it doesn't meet Ralph's criteria for a successful season. ;)

So the first two Big East teams won and it looks like there will not be a BE vs BE matchup in either region. Marquette trailing.

1. No answer for Thomas.
2. Gates was beat by Sullinger pretty badly (Gates draft stock had to take a hit tonight).
3. Dixon is not a guy I want taking contested 3pt shots.
4. Kilpatrick did not get enough touches when he got hot.
5. Wright did not get enough shots when he got hot (although avoiding Craft was a good idea).
6. Did not utilize the screen on Craft enough. We were dropping bombs after a simple bump (decided to get fancy dribbling - and failed).
7. Team played with heart for 8 minutes after the first half. Ohio State played solidly for 40.
8. I am eager to see what a core team of Wright, Kilpatrick, Parker, and Jackson can do next season.

I guess Mick told the team to stop shooting 3's after the game got close. Funny thing is, that's when the turnovers started appearing again (Wright trying to dribble inside on Craft).

We had options but Mick and the team chose not to take them. We tried (once) to get the ball inside to Gates and ended up in a near disaster. This was to take advantage of the 3 fouls on Sullinger (although should have done it sooner). Kilpatrick and Wright got hot from behind the arc but we suddenly stopped letting them shoot the ball. We were in the bonus fairly early in the half, then stopped penetrating trying to score (only to avoid a turnover or create mismatches) - so the free throws never came.

.

Good season. I'm not as disappointed as I imagined - too much to be proud of this year!

The biggest difference I noticed tonight compared to other nights is the impact Yancy had on the games late in the second half. Tonight he was non-existent. Usually he gets a good rebound or makes a tough shot that ignites the team. Tonight he did not.

That's in part because Sullinger is a good player. That's in part because Yancy didn't always get position. That's in part because they collapsed on him when we tried to get him the ball. But he didn't really rebound either.

I hope he's learned from this season and does well in the NBA.

Well, you got the matchup for which you've long asked. This next statement applies only to some of your more ridiculous posters: You have a good team, but please stop acting like the best collegiate athletics in Ohio reside anywhere but Columbus. Y'all better hide your kids, hide your wife... nevermind. Aaron Craft already stole them!

Swing and a miss. You were thinking of something creative to say if OSU won all week, and thats what you brought to the table. Pathetic.
