They are horrible. 2-8 with wins over FDU-Florham (whatever that is) and Lipscomb. Somehow they only lost by 8 @Ohio State. But Seton Hall, Iona, St. Peter's, Army, Fordham and Rutgers have all beaten them by double digits.

They are #288 in KenPom. #150 AdjO #344 AdjD and #188 AdjT.

We should pretty much be able to name our score.

More and more minutes for the 2nd unit. Keep getting these guys time on the floor whenever we can.

I think it's fair to say we will be 9-2 after Saturday lol. Working on getting some tickets now.

Like Jake said lets work with the second unit.

Things I would like to see:
3 points go in. Lets get more than 6 3 pointers and Caupain with at least with 2 of those. Would love to Jarron stay hot.
Dunks and more dunks. Lets get some fast break dunks. get the 6500 fans that will be there on their feet.

Just blow through these next two opponents and on to conference play. I truly believe no more than 2 or 3 more losses this year. Fans will start to come especially with better conference opponents and a ranking of top 20 or better.

On paper this the worst buy game that we have.

#288 in Kenpom
#150 in Offensive Efficiency
#344 in Defensive Efficiency (only 7 teams in D1 that are worse defensively)

* Not a good 3 point shooting team
* Terrible at defending the 3 and even worse at defending the 2
* Very undersized Guards, typical lineup has 3 guys listed at 6'1
* 1 really good 3 point shooter and 1 decent one. Darian Anderson shoots 41%
* They do a pretty good job at protecting the ball (41th in the country in TO%)
* dreadful offensive rebounding team and even more dreadful at allowing offensive rebounds

My guess is that we put up 85-100 points and allow 65 at max. Would expect TC, Washington, Clark and Evans to all play less than 20 minutes each.

Really would love to see Mick start the backup and just see how it goes.

FD made the tourney last year but mostly out of luck. This game is going to hurt our RPI even if we win. Its one game I wish wasn't on the schedule

Thank Michigan for this.

Yea. I still wish our scheduling was better.

We do land good teams (vcu, butler, Iowa state, neb, etc) but I want to see us play more of the better teams for buy games.

That said last year we played 4 300+ kenpom teams and this year it's none so we did improve but, I'd like too see all our buy games be to mid majors who are in the top 150 or better.

Id love to also see us play NKU

AGREED. NKU, Ball State, Wright State, Miami, OU, Western KY, Ind St, Valparaiso, etc etc. All local mid major that we could tap into. Now that we are a permanent fixture in the crappy AAC, we need to focus on fan experience in who we schedule. Otherwise, you will see donor $ diminish and attendance dwindle.

He still needs to schedule better.

Non conference of R.I., Hopefully Duke, Mich, Iowa State, Butler, and Xavier then 6 bad teams is not that awful. It would have been good to get a Miami OH or something that we are more familiar with then Samford, but overall that Mich game and us not playing Duke really sucked.

Nothing we can do about who we play. Just happy any of the 40 minutes that I get to watch them in action. Def looking forward to the 28th though against Temple.
