🙏🏻 I’d take 4 years of an exciting basketball program with a revolving door of coaches over a slow paced 60pt per game and exit in the first weekend of the tourney. ANY. DAY. OF. THE. WEEK

Absolutely 100% agree!!!!! Great post brother!

Too many people on here talking about players. The coach gets these players and is responsible for these players. Cronin allowed us to turn the corner from a miserable situation. Turning the corner happened 6 years ago but it feels like we keep going in circles. MUST BE BETTER and it starts at the top. We are paying a coach top 20 money and receiving top 75 results 🤦🏻*♂️

I think the best coaching I have seen in 12 years came 3 years ago under Larry Davis. Think about that for a moment and then try to argue with that. You cant. Thats INSANE

People saying “everyone is overreacting” are missing the point. Yes it’s 2 games and overall, that’s not a big deal. But it’s seems like the same thing every year. Have we topped out as a program. Are we a boderline top 20 team every year, that goes to 1 s16 every decade? Is that where we are now? Are people ok with this? I expect more but maybe I’m in the minority.

Whoever wants to make $2.5 Million, coach one of the all-time great programs, coach in a brand new arena, have a pretty good team coming back, and won't have a whole lot to live up to after 12 years of mediocrity. Think we'll get some decent candidates? I certainly do!

Tell me who ?

Since the sweet 16, the trend line has been down. 3 of 5 years out in 1st round. The other two, out in second round. No championships. Miserable league tourney performances. 1 NBA draft pick in 12 years. Pathetic.

The best coaching was SK senior year and it’s not even close. That team was a top 10 team and had 3 people that couldn’t even make a layup most of the time. We shared a regular season title with a good Louisville team.

No wonder recruiting is weak... They know they will never get to the next level or exposure in cronins system.

Oh, the team that LOST to HARVARD in the first round. SWEET!

All of you are absolutely ridiculous. If it was so god darn frustrating it would actually be pretty hilarious.

That is the Athletic Directors job. There are great assistant coaches, great mid-major coaches, great Div II coaches, all over the college basketball landscape......just like Higgins was, Brad Stevens was, Chris Mack was, Shake Smart was, Buzz Williams was, etc. AD has to earn his salary and find them. Lots of coaches would love to be a top 20 highest paid coach!

Get real man. Cronin is like the 18th highest paid coach in the nation, what do you mean....who can we afford. There's only about 14 coaches from top conferences who make more than him. We keep paying that much, we'll still get great coaches if they do move on.

Doesn't that big East money run out soon? The money they get from the media deal won't increase for a few years. Or does the coaches salary come from mainly donors?

In 12 years, we have not had a single light's out 3 point shooter. Yet, we see teams with 2, 3, 4 of them all over college basketball, Not one here in 12 years!
