Tale of two halves! Good shooting by the cats in the 2nd half. Once this team and hopefully they learn by early league play, offensive efficiency they will be unstoppable. I agree with whoever said that dunk Marshall had woke us up. Ironically that was a turning point.

Yeah, a little shot at him. I know he's not happy the university is focusing on football. He said get a new arena for the fans...I hate to say it but what fans? We're averaging what 6,000? The fans would have a lot stronger voice if they came to the games. I think the university would be wise to send out letter of intents to potential season ticket buyers (basically anyone who's ever purchased tickets from them) and see if they can get some "fans" to commit to buying seats in a new arena if it were built since that is the main reason these same fans say they don't go to games. Get a little deposit down to help pay for it.
Yeah sounds like Cronin believes that's a big reason for the attendance issues.

I think its a pretty good part of it as well. I also think Cronin knows that everything is driven around football as well and its just the world we live in now a days.

Hate getting on here after a 16 point win and feeling like we lost. Six guys with 8 or more and Thomas keeps getting better. Defense held another opponent under 40% shooting and we forced 20 turnovers. Marshall came in hitting 32% from 3 and wind up hitting 8-12 or this game is never close. Good road win and tune up for Xavier. All the talk about league affliation will work itself out. I'm just going to enjoy the season and hope UC can win the BEast title and close the door on the BEast as champions.

I honestly think it won't affect it much. This is a town of whiners and people who make excuses and point fingers. They will still find reasons not to go. I will say that X's arena is real nice and an arena like that could entice a few people who are on the fence about getting season tickets or not. I think the better factor will be this team becoming the talk around the water cooler again. If it's the cool thing to do, we'll get the casual fan to come down again. We sold out an entire season in 2000 in that arena. No reason it couldn't happen again. This team hopefully will be the team to gets that swagger back to UC.
Mick gave Ono and Babcock a pass, he pleaded with them to not shave there heads via twitter.
We shall see, Wednesday is XU's Super Bowl much like IU is Butler's Super Bowl.

I listened to the radio, sounded like a tale of two halves, we couldn't hit much of anything in the first and they couldn't miss from 3. It also sounded like thomas was all over the place and jackson did some big things. Good to be 10-0. Hopefully, with an overrated Indiana losing to Butler and Arizona vs. Florida tonight, we'll be cracking the top 10. Would have been nice if Memphis would have done in Louisville but the oppurtunity is still there.
